The empty terrain has hardly any impact on performance, and although it doesn't look great, it would take more time to remove and add back later than is worth the while. Geographic? The map's content and design are referenced from the suburbs of Chicago, so I'd say somewhere around the Central-Western Great Lakes area. Northern Ohio, Michigan, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, or Southern Ontario would be the likeliest places. Yeah, I was going for the old Mercury vapor streetlights, which stand out to me as being the definitive night lighting option. Honestly, I get kinda sleepy looking at them. Reminds me of long overnight car rides from my childhood, but I can see the element of foreboding and suppose it works for a map set in the weeks approaching Halloween.
Most likely not, as the houses don't really have any interiors. On the houses, maybe, but putting lights in the houses would require some form of internal structure. Some of the larger structures will have a visual interior, however.
So, why not have exterior lighting, such as a light over the garage on some houses and on the porch by the front door?
It is. If my plans pan out and I have the time, it was meant to have an interior at some point. And an actual facade, as the reception area has no windows or doors as of yet.
Would it be too hard to have garages interiors? not all of them, but it kinda bothers me that every single garage has a closed door.
Although no-one asked for one, I made a plate for this map. If you can't see the plate that well, here's a closeup of it.
I did have plans to make a few (half-dozen or fewer) accessible, high-detail residential garages. In fact, one of those is meant to be directly next to where the player currently starts the map, on the far left. I've got several things slated for the next update, including vastly expanding the map's current area, but if I can mill through those I ought to be able to at least start on one of those garages. Possible, but it would look a little uncanny with no cars out front. Not a bad plan, though. No, but I meant it to be a common enough name that it could be plausible. Cleveland, huh? A good chunk of Perryville is based on that.
it didnt work the zip i got the zip but i cant open it ): --- Post updated --- could you make it have an install button? (just asking if its possible not to sound rude)
No when i go to get the zip it sais i cant as in i go to where the zip is search it click the zip it wont let me drag it nothing\ Ntm idk how to get to those folders
Speak English for goodness sake. Also, this is the second thread you are doing this in, so I am fairly certain that you are trolling.
