The Commodore (Sedan, Wagon, Ute), Cruze (Sedan, Hatch) & the Caprice are all still built in Aus. Cruze stops production in October, Commodore & Caprice stop production some time in 2017.
Well, after doing a couple more open days, it does look like the UK Police Mustang is just a show car. Still not a registered police car. Saying that, it is not the first time that has happened over here...
Best idea ever. Get 'em while they're cheap!! If you can't afford the maintenance, well...I couldn't either. But I say a broken 944 is better than no 944. --- Post updated --- Lol, it's the new Sobbing Aussie Pontiac G8!
Well, after work today I ran my mouth at one of my coworkers (late high school as far as I can tell) and ended up with a tentative offer to race him. I drive the Sunbird you all know about, all stock except for taller snow tires (hopefully all replaced by then), single platinum spark plugs, and a Midas stock-replacement muffler. Also has many problems, which hopefully I'll have fixed by then. He drives a 1988 Mazda 626 2.2/5MT, with an unknown cold air intake and a straight pipe with cut muffler, which he thinks is the fastest car in the world and can outrun anything. I heard no turbo whistle or BOV when he started it up and revved it for me, so I'm pretty sure it's the 110 horse N/A version, maybe 120-125 with the mods he disclosed, assuming it's in good shape. Judging by the data I've found on the internet, plus my own gut instincts, I think this kid's gonna get riggity rekt, but you never do know about these things. What's your appraisal of the situation? Honestly, a little reality check might do him good. He's in that phase we all go through, when you've got your Civic Si or V6 Sunbird or 2.2L Mazda and you think it's the fastest thing on earth and it hauls so much mail even a Porsche couldn't touch it. The sooner someone snaps out of that, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
Well, thats obvious i guess but what is the name of it?? i havent heard any news from mclaren lately so that should be something interesting Looks like p1 ish 570
A facebook post about this Ford GT getting transported in California is beautiful, the Americans seemed to prefer a certain car.
I kind of like wagons but I think I'd rather have the GT. Assuming it didn't have a previous owner named "Jeremy", of course.
I'm texting that to my mom I've been trying to convince her for ages that wagons have moved beyond the Brady Bunch's brown Plymouth and are actually considered cool now.
i am trying to convince my dad too buy a v8 truck because who cares about the enviremont we wont notice the difference so... i already convinced him to buy this but only has a 3.2lit i5 turbo diesel
Frankly, I wouldn't want anything bigger than a small sedan if I lived in the Netherlands. You may change your mind about trucks once you learn to drive and need to put it down a narrow street, but I'm going to assume your dad needed a truck. In that case, I would say he made the right choice. Sure, a V8 may be more exciting, but an I5 diesel is by far the most suitable engine for where you live.
