I would recommend shortening the bed slightly, and not getting rid of the rear 2 doors, but shortening them (about 1/4 off of them).
https://www.netcarshow.com/Holden-HSV_Avalanche_XUV-2004-1600-08.jpg like the holden crewman or hsv avalanche xuv (but with a filler bit between the old wheel space and new bed) or make the door square EDIT just remove the silly window bit that dont wind down like this and boom also square up the bed and some other tweaks moveing the belt line down and makeing a bed roll bar thing so the rounded frame doesnt have to clash with the body tails could look something like this ps the bed is a fake separate like the ridgeline its still unibody... it just looks nicer that way
Yeah, check out the Holden crewman, it looks similar: http://imgur.com/a/9qBa2 Damn you quick aussie bastard Aussie Love <3
Thanks for that advice, i will try and see what i can do whenever i get home.. i love utes and would love to be able to contibute somehow!
heres a thought : if you readd the roof over the long bed and knock out the rear door and make that the bed too you end up with a hearse!
It can challence maybach vision 6 Sarcasm off Seriously, it looks so awkward, please reconsider shortening wheelbase or using bernds coupe as base...
Got the nav system rendering on the dash correctly (big thanks to @mumboking ). I also decided to choose a more "tasteful" colour scheme than the ETK ones, zoomed it out a bit (personal preference really) and changed the bootup image. But the biggest change is shown below. In stock cars the map rotates around the avatar which is in the centre of the screen, through some 1337 trigonometry skills the map now places and rotates the players avatar at a lower point on the map. Allowing the user to see more in front of them and less behind. Below is the standard navigation system from the ETK 800 that I modified to get the navigation shown above.
I'll take that as a compliment... and the 2 door will be made soon, just want to get this thing working --- Post updated --- Good job man, seems like stuff is being made!
looking good but could use a rollbar square it up a little like my design and keep the original super long bed (the roofline slops a bit much for a pickup atm) maybe move the beltline down a smudge and move the front wheels closer to the middle yours: Mine: that way it'll look more utey instead of shooting brake ish
Ehhh, not bad. Just imported and checked out the Assetto Corsa MX5 as reference since it's a beautiful model, and actually modelled around laser-scanned data meaning it's about as accurate as you can get. All the funky bits of my model stand out so much more next to the legit one... Just when I thought I was getting good at this modelling business!
Take a look at the Subaru Baja if you want some extra inspiration or if you wanted to make a Sunburst version of it.
