In italiano "scenario" va tradotto in "livello"? personalmente penso che lasciare "scenario" non sia una cattiva idea. In italian "scenario" nedds to be translated in "livello"? I think that maintaining "scenario" it's good.
Secondo me è meglio "livello", "scenario" in Italiano è l'equivalente dell'inglese "scenery", ovvero un fondale per una scena. In entrambe le lingue può essere usato anche in senso figurato come sinonimo di ambiente/ambientazione/contesto, ma il termine italiano non mi pare adattissimo in questo ambito.
There is a problem with the Romanian translation. Somebody spammed iw with 30 or so Russian suggestions, how do i delete the suggestions ? How can i verify if somebody modified or not the translation ?
I just corrected around 25 strings of badly translated Spanish written by some Anonymous user. I value the community effort and I'm ok helping for nothing but having to redo work made without care by unregistered users it's a bit frustrating. Shouldn't translation work be restricted to registered members of this forum (using their forum names) so we can be kept accountable for our rights and wrongs? That way people would be more careful when translating.
Scenario = Various missions Level = Map itself It's more correct to translate 'Scenario' with 'Scenario' rather than Levels.
"Austrian" German is not really needed. It´s writen almost the same as "German" German. Wenn i read the "Austrian German" it makes me only laught about it. And it is a little bit embarrassing. I think the work on it is needless. Just my opinion when i think about that.
Hey ! I can't login in the translate section.. I'd love to help the translation (I'm French) but it keep saying 'Bad Username/Password combination' Btw I just changed my password and it still don't want to log me in. --- Post updated --- @Nadeox1 is there a way to make it work ?
You have to create separate account for translations. http://wiki.beamng.com/Translation Edit: http://translate.beamng.com/transla...c2f-11e6-b83d-0cc47a0c9342&offset=18#comments ^just a small typo "tp" instead "to" http://translate.beamng.com/transla...8383aa4-7c2f-11e6-b83d-0cc47a0c9342&offset=48 ^"utha" instead of "utah" - look at context, and it repeats sometimes. http://translate.beamng.com/transla...3fe49a-7c40-11e6-a5f8-0cc47a0c9342&offset=256 ^empty source - nothing to translate
That's as if I translated a german game into english, a language I learn in school and try to be as good with as I can, but by no means am great at. It's useless, except if there's noone else who speaks the language better is willing to translate. However, this forum is full of native germans, who I'm certain speak german way better, hell, the BNG studio is in germany. There's so many native germans in here that I didn't even start translating (as a native german) because I'm sure there's others who are more suited for this job and happily take it, because as past showed I tend to do some small grammar mistaked when translating games from english into german, no serious stuff but something that could be avoided. However, those little grammar mistakes are still better than an "absolute best" when you are still learning a language. The guidelines even say you should be native, as nice as you mean it, I don't think it helps when many strings show up as translated and therefore are only looked at by someone who proof reads while they should actually all be translated again. It'll show unexisting progress.
So somebody has interfered with the romanian translation and wrote letter without diacritic symbols. Besides this, they're translated wrong. Is there any way to completely lock the translation or something like this ? --- Post updated --- Omg, some translations are made using google translate. Some people don't even take this seriously...
I hope so, people who use google translate in general should be (insert something painfully)... Don't translate if you don't know what you are doing!
Go in your language page, and click on 'History'. It would help if we know who's doing things wrongly, so that we can check aswell.
Ok so this guy is using Google Translate for his French translations, and in most cases they're wrong : http://translate.beamng.com/user/lucas/
