Ben, what i'm just trying to say, is that it can happen the release can be delayed for a few hours, because of reasons.
So i won't give a precise hour now. It will be announced "release tomorrow" when the mod is done and it's just presentations things. So then, even if we try, not me but the moderation of the mod section too, to release in a proper timezone, if we consider something need more attention and delay the thing for a couple of hours, it will be done.

i appreciate that is so much expected and i hope it will be good enough.

There is no other release date than "release tomorrow" that is not announced.
Then it will be more or less 24+
The between 15 to 19 was a approx thing, and the fact is, i'm still working on it, and not only myself, but other people.

You've got a lot of patience. A lot. I could never make a mod like this AND maintain a family as well.

 

You have to understand Ben, that rushing me is not the best reward you can send to me. I prefer when you concentrate on what you will do with the mod, what kind of scénarios and so on.
I understand enthousiasm, i think i can tell something about enthousiasm about this mod. So patience is also a vertue.

Also think about one thing, i've done all of that in secret, not showing anything, untill i'm sure it could be finished. I don't want to play with people nerves untill Christmas. It was announced the first day, it will be released in september, and it will be.

On a positive note, we are only the 17th, not even the 19.

 

That's roughly like 24-48 hours to finetune this mod. All I know is that it will take 7-8 hours for a mod to be approved on the repository, while on the forums, depending on internet speed, it can be instant or spanning a couple minutes to even hours.

You are probably one of the most prolific and entitled spammers I have ever seen. The more time he spends reading and responding to your constant pestering, the less time he can spend modding.

Mods are released when ready. Nor does it matter how many hours it said on the announcement. He has no requirement to stick to any date. Fuck it, you know what. @SergentFido shouldnt have to even say released tomorrow, he should just release it when he wants to release it. And if it means once its uploaded to repo and everything then its 10 minutes after mommy sent dear little benny to bed at 9:44 on october the 23rd then so be it.

 

No need to shut up Ben, you can just express your hype without putting pressure.

As far as facts go, the Oldsmobile you're making was made from 1977-1985, according to Wikipedia.

Instead of talking about the release date i'm gonna talk about the mod. I can't wait to throw this bad boy with it's custom modeled supercharger with the stig inside around some tight turns and see what happens. I can see that the quality of this mod is great and I have word from someone who is testing the mod that you are putting so much work into this mod and you truly are gifted with blender and texturing.

@SergentFido All your hard work will pay off as imo it looks to be the best mod that will ever hit the repository, you sir have earned my respect.

If you run into problems and It takes another few weeks then so be it, because when you release it, that is because it is finally when you think it should be released not when other forum members think so.

So good luck to you on tweaking those last things and I will look forward to it whenever it is released.

 

@SergentFido i hope get hall of fame like legacy for this mod because well... this so epic, detailed, beloved, inspiring, and hyped project, and you have given us already a load of foto's and info that its almost more than we deserve you sire are one a kind this will maybe be the most populair mod on this forum
