Well, nothing some mesh scaling couldn't fix. If I remember correctly, the shell is a tad too narrow for the chassis, so it could be widened to fit. I'll see what I can do about that as soon as I'm done with the current tasks. Possible, sure. But it would be like making an entirely new vehicle. I dont' have the time right now, but I may attempt something like this in the future.
Most versions are on Cohen, but there's also a couple of them on the CRD chassis (namely, XXIII, XXVII and XXXIV). @ROCKGODBOSS made a wonderful body we can use (he even provided a support halo), but I'm having trouble adapting it to the chassis as is. --- Post updated --- OT: please think of the poor trucks in development.
looks great! i gave it a quick test, and it seems like the back part needs a little bit more work. maybe angle it in more to match the body better?
thats why it needs a halo, which i have a .blend file for. ill try to work it out, moving the body forward or backwards is not necessary because it should be very very very close to the position it was in ror
Suggestions: - Rims should be either unpainted (gunmetal grey), black, purple or green. The latter should match the hue of the chassis and the green accents of the body. Current lime green is a tad too bright/fluorescent IMO. - You can remove the set of Ukraine wheels from the .DAE file, since they have no corresponding JBeam anymore. - Can you please fix this (see screenshot)? Or, move the body on the latest revision of the chassis I've uploaded a few pages ago. That one comes with fixed shading on the rear links (thanks @mumboking). - May help you with skins? Also, thanks for making this a separate vehicle, this way it won't clash with my development truck all that much.
Ok, I will fix that. I was thinking of this for the rims, which is where the green came from Sure, I will in the next update Yes, I'll make sure to. Of course! I have most skin files already inside the zip. Your welcome! Thanks for the feedback!
any idea when the new trucks will be released? also with the digger shell proven to work, does that make easier to finish the crusader and similar styled trucks? i'd love an air force afterburner in the future!
other than the little bit of spikiness off the back end, grave digger worked just fine. i didnt notice any unreasonably body shaking or anything like that.
I know. That's just me, trying to alway do things correctly. I'd hate to release it without the support halo, that's it. Besides, Lucas Oil Crusader is actually sitting on a modified Cohen chassis, so placing the body on the CRD chassis is also inaccurate.
well, i have a halo .dae file it might need adjusting but i've provided the file --- Post updated --- I found out that you will need a chassis slot because the CRD w/ halo doesn't have a part of the CRD in BeamNG. i provided a pre-adapted halo now
