I have a problem with a road texture I made. It's overwriting the original textures. And I saved the texture in .dds DXT5 Interpolated Alpha. As you can see, the texture is very grainy from 2 meters and longer. Help?

I usually use "DXT3 8 bbpp | explicit alpha" to save. Try and see if it makes any difference.

No difference what so ever. Maybe it is because I've already saved the textures in the format that made it grainy? Gonna try and remake them.

    EDIT: Nope, no difference.

Look into normal mapping, mipmaps and anisotropic filtering, one or a combination of those are probably the culprit.

When I added mipmaps, it fixed itself. Thanks for the advice!
