I've done tons of Googling trying to find something like this, but I haven't found anything. Basically what I want is something that will let you change environment temperature from, say, -60F to 200F. I have cars that (even with a customizable radiator mod) aren't able to do a standing mile because they start to overheat.
This is a really good idea. I would set it to like 1000 celsius and watch my cars mirrors and grills melt off.
God that would be like next-level physics. If this game gets to that point (along with tons of shrapnel), I may never leave my house lol
I....... You know what? this is a great idea and while it could take some work to make it REALLY work well, it would be nice.
But that would be so hard for devs, because if you want to make Celsius higher you must make animations for them and thats very hard work
This would be quite easily implemented but for only one thing, the radiator system, its going to be too much coding to have melting! these are cars not ice cubes.
I think that melting is a little bit too much, if not impossible. What i really wanted to see was that the atm pressure and temp would affect heating, if we go a little bit further, maybe the way tires behave and performance.
I too am interested in this. It bothers me that the Desert Highway map is 87 F at noon and midnight - It'd be nice to be able to push some of the older stock cars to the limit, having to drive cautiously to avoid overheating.
