Hey Sam, what 3D modelling software do you use to maintain the smoothing groups?

EDIT: *Facepalms* I forgot. Blender, right?

Oh, also: how do you maintain the smoothing groups? I've tried the Edge Loop thingamajig (I forgot what it's called exactly) while all the different objects were selected, but nothing happens.

Shoot, I forgot to give my feedback on the model. XD

    I don't really like the spoiler... :S
I was hoping it'd be like this:

If this is going to be common, I would be more the happy to make a "sensible" version of the engine, since mine out the box is a little extreme.

There can be my 'holy crap this is fast, and 'ok this isn't slow' versions.

Awesome video, thanks again Insanegaz :) Love to see it when you use my map aswell as my car mods ;)

Yes I use Blender :p Use the Split-Edge Modifier, and make sure you do it to each bit, body, door, hood, boot etc. And make sure you click apply aswell.

I'm going to say it again; This is an incredible vehicle model to have, it's truly the perfect replacement or, if you wish, addition to the original Moonhawk. It's a perfect 'Sport' edition you might see next to the base model at the dealership.

The wider tires, the windshield lip, the spoiler...and especially the fender flares..

I'm seriously in love with it, thanks again Sam. Such a mean looking car...

Thanks SleepyPickup :) I'm glad you like it!

I didn't want to go overboard when I was making it, I just wanted a sporty edition that isn't overly fast, that's what yours is for ;)

    Thanks again!

shiiit so much power that burnouts in 2nd gear deform the wheels

but i like it, more power suprisingly makes the game more fun
i like the mods, they look cool but im gonna make my own mod though because i want sidepipes :D
would be cool if there was an easy way to throw all part mods together

To be honest. I rarely use the stock moonhawk anymore. AWD with the dragster motor is just prestene! Even with the wobble wheel ;)

This car is seriously quick, check out this 0-60, 3.21 seconds! (AWD, Manual Transmission)
Also engine/gearbox popped out after a bump :D

Top speed seems quite slow, might fiddle with the gear ratio's

Well, did you know that there is a dragster version of the engine?

Mods like this irritate me to no end. If youre going to do something, do it right. I will unashamingly say this is terrible. Now if you had added things like a transfer case, front driveshafts, an actual wing rather than just a weird trunk extrusion, this would be a decent mod. But setting the front wheels to driven and doubling the torque... just no. You can do better Sam.
