    Awesome parts.

Just wondering, would it be possible for you to create 37 inch + tall tires, for the available off-road rim sizes?

Thanks! Please leave a review if you get a second. A bobbed bed is not off the table, but it is harder to make than the existing bobbed chassis. I assume you saw the chassis?
Check the parts menu (CTRL+W) and swap out the parts listed (extensively!) in the mod's description. I recommend swapping the chassis to "Heavy Duty Frame w/ 5in Body Lift" for starters.
@DankMemeBunny Ack, sure enough you're right. That should have been pulled before release, sorry. I did mention in the mod description that proper configs were coming in the future. What you can do for now is use the configs listed under the parts menu's "SAVE&LOAD" header. Look for ones starting with the word torsion - this mod adds 5 of them (all subject to change).

Finally... a 1-star review because you couldn't figure out how the mod works is not appropriate IMO. I'd appreciate you changing that for me and I'd also like it if you didn't do that to anyone else. Asking for help is appropriate when you can't figure something out.
Thanks. Yes, taller tires are definitely possible. The unfortunate problem is that even 35in tires don't really clear the front wheel wells and springs! (go look!) I do plan to look a little deeper into this, but I think that several things need to happen before anyone tries to swing 37's on a D-series. Maybe new fenders, new tubs, and either bigger spacers (ick!) or axle swaps for longer axles. And all that's in addition to the suspension work to get the truck tall enough for the vertical height of the tire.

Yup! I did see the chassis. It was very good on the Crawler map.

is there a "heavy duty" version that can haul trailers (e.g. the dry van trailer, not trailers towable on tow hitch)

    @torsion

Don't know if you know this, but the steering wheel, pedals and gauge needles are misplaced with the 5 inch body lift. Other than that awesome mods, can't wait to see what else you come up with.

No, there is not. Try using a 5th wheel dolly if you need to re-position a semi trailer using a pickup truck. Otherwise if you need to move a semi trailer I recommend using a normal semi truck.
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback; in this case I am aware of the problem. It's frustrating but the nodeOffset system (which raises all of the other parts to fit the body lift) doesn't currently affect 'prop' items such as those. That is a limitation of the game right now - the only props affected by nodeOffset are SPOTLIGHT props. Hopefully the devs will have mercy and add nodeOffset to all props.

@thatdudeinthesubaru - I'm not sure that I understand your terminology with "tray/tub". Can you help me out?

FWIW you may be talking about the 'props' - see that past few posts here for some brief discussion of that. TLDR: A fix for that is not happening until the game itself is improved. I'm still curious what you mean by tray/tub though.

So when I equip the 5in body lift, the only thing it lifts is the "bed" (sorry about that, im Australian and we call it a tray/tub) The cab stays where it is. If you need me to I can post photos :)

    1. Are you on the current game versoin (v0.7.0.2)?
    2. Are you running any other mods?
    3. Be sure to update the mod to 012, you may still have 010.
    4. Yes, please post photos and a log file from Documents\BeamNG.drive\beamng.log as well. In order to generate the log: open the game, load "Grid, Small, Pure", then switch to the "Heavy Duty Frame w/ 5in Body Lift" and then quit the game. (after that please upload it here using the "Upload a File" button which is next to the "Post Reply" button)

#1 is what's causing your problem. This mod requires v0.7 or greater. There was a bug in older versions of the game which caused problems with using nodeOffset.

In order to update your laptop simply install Steam on another PC and then move the game folder from the steamapps/common onto a flash drive.
