    Hello all,
Thought I'd try my hand at porting a map over from Halo 2 that prominently features the driving sections. Map originally made by Bungie. I have an alternate version of the bridge with the hole removed but the car falls through the newly created road. If anyone wants to have a look to see if they can fix it, please get in touch and I'll send over the file.

Please see most recent posting for download links. I tried to edit this post but keep getting spam errors.

Don't forget to the set the time to night-time if you want the tunnel to look really dark.

Download Links (Download both or you could get missing materials!):

For some reason, the forums file upload function just gives me an error so I can't upload it directly to the forum.

    DUUUDE.

Why hasn't the community ported more maps like these? Halo 1 + 2 (the only ones I really played) has quite a few maps that would be very suitable for BeamNG. Even other games, too, such as Zelda's Hyrule field, or Super Mario's Secret Slide, if you want to go unconventional. Shit, if terrain development payed well and was steady, I'd put my time into it. There's so many places in the real world and games that would easily be loved if it were implemented as a BeamNG level.

20161017132438_1.jpg 20161017132623_1.jpg < The scale seems to be pretty close.
Also was there not more of the tunnel behind the spawn?

Thanks for all your feedback so far :) Having looked back at my source, I realised I assigned the wrong road texture on the bridge which in turn messed up the scale as I was basing the scale off of the lane widths. I have fixed this and the missing textures on the blast door. Still need to relocate the point lights in the tunnel then I can release the update.

@burilkovdeni - The level further back from the tunnel looks like this:

Going beyond the entrance hole, there isn't much extra tunnel that seems viable adding.

Well the Warthog is actually pretty gigantic and it looked about 1.5x the size of the pessima in the actual game.

I would like it if added it to the tunnel entrance hole, because that would be awesome.

Update now released. Tried to edit my first post but kept getting a spam error...

Download links (Download both or you could end up with missing materials) I tried merging the two maps into the same zip but ran into material issues for some reason...

    http://www.mediafire.com/file/4mc79ez5gmc0kmc/Halo2Mombasa_night.zip

    Changelog:
    1) Added missing street lights and toll booths.
    2) Fixed missing materials on blast door.
    3) Corrected road texture on bridge.
    4) Added normal maps across remaining materials.
    5) Fixed scale
    6) Lowered volume of ambient track (didn't realise it was that loud until I heard it with vanilla engine sounds)
    7) Added independent night mode to allow for better night lighting in the tunnels/bridge whilst keeping the lights independent of the day mode.
    8) Added anti-collision lights on the taller buildings, crane and bridge.

If you want to use the tunnel in the dark like the first release, select the daytime version and then just set the time to night-time once loaded.
I didn't add the previous section near the hole as the frame-rate was starting to take a hit once I added it.
