I will agree that Clinton wasn't the greatest, but I feel like that even though she did all those things, she was a tad better than Trump, but not by much, and I mean, by a microscopic margarine.

I just feel like if she won, she would at least know what she was doing, would be more understanding of political issues than Trump ever would, and would handle said issues much more maturely, and not post angry tweets about them at 3 AM.

I also didn't like that thing with the bowl of Skittles thing involving Trump's son. It was like he was saying that those people didn't have feelings, hopes, dreams, or thoughts when news flash, they do have those things I just said. They're not pieces of candy, they're human beings. The Trumps have a habit of stereotyping people, and saying things about them that denounces them as a whole, when it would be better to just focus on what I call the "bad eggs."

I still remember the Pulse incident. While Trump got up and insulted muslims, Clinton said it was not a time for politics. That really made me upset with Trump.

Fine then. You want a battle, you've got one. Trump never paid taxes. Why should he be allowed to make decisions about taxpayer money if he doesn't know what it's like to pay them. Trump calls himself a successful businessman, even though he managed to lose nearly a BILLION DOLLARS on casinos. How do you lose money on casinos??? Trump has NEVER had political experience, and he's so unlikable, he had to appeal to the lowest common denominator of voters. Trump states that because he's famous, he can molest anyone he wants! How do you feel having someone who says that as your president? I'm embarrassed. Trump has never worked a day in his life, all he does is go to work for 15 minutes each day and pay himself for it. Trump is a textbook example of narcissism. End of story. Who wants anyone for president who needs his name plastered in gold on top of every building he likes? The white house won't be enough for him, he'll need the gold house. Trump blatantly discriminates against Muslims, Hispanics, Blacks and women! That should be unacceptable in this day in age. Trump is so repulsive that he's endorsed by hate groups such as the KKK! If you think that anyone who thinks that all Mexicans are rapists is fit for the oval office, then you've been drinking too much of the Kool-Aid, pal. Just go back and go through grade school social studies all over again, because if you prefer that deplorable for president over someone who isn't all of the things I listed above, then you failed to learn social studies. You say that this is a matter of integrity and moral values, then you just contradicted yourself! Trump's only morals are that Trump is the best. You think that he has integrity? If he says anything he'll deny it in less than a week! Just give it up. Trump is the most unfit for the presidency and you know it. Now will you be kind and just think before you try to discuss politics?

It isn't broken. The electoral college is set up so that the rural states are able to have a say in how our country is run. Otherwise, all of the big cities would end up controlling the government because they make up a vast majority of the US population

It just doesn't seem fair that some people's votes are more important than anyone else's.

Jesus, how do you function on a daily basis? There are way too many fallacies in that rant to even start

For the sake of argument let's ignore these fallacies.

You're right about the taxes, and to some extent the discrimination. And I agree 100% that he has no right to talk about taxpayers when he evaded tax himself.
Still, the things he did are nothing compared to hillary's crimes. It's tax evasion vs mass censoring; discrimination vs silencing rape victims; being unoficcially endorsed by hate groups vs actually full out flattering and praising KKK leaders (http://www.anonews.co/hillary-clinton-kkk/). I don't think he's fit for oval office, but I don't want to see WW3 erupt in my lifetime (partly due to tensions with russia).
Also, if Hillary, despite her long career in politics, full support from Barack and Michelle Obama, full support from the Democrat party, and billions spent on advertising, managed to lose against a sucker with no political experience and half his party against him, who knows how badly she could have messed up her presidency?

You seem to think I like trump, or that I agree with his policies. Make no mistake, this isn't about politics or opinions, it's about how badly it can turn out with these two being nearly the only choices america gets.

Trump is unfit for office. Same with Clinton. I believe that Trump is less fit. I see him is a hypocrite. Remember his speech when he won? About unity? That doesn't seem like the same guy who spammed twitter. I personally think that Trump is too easily angered. I don't trust him with the nuclear codes. I'm sorry if my last post came off harsh, I'm just so angry over this. I got no sleep last night so I've been up for over 24 hours straight.

Why don't we just agree that the 2 party system is flawed and leans too far to the right, and to move this thread away from politics.

The elections over. Don't like it, suck it up. My parents did when Obama won and got re-elected. Here's a picture of a 2001 Honda Civic coupe. Icarly.com

America is just a big reality TV show. Everything is the end of the world in America.

Now, I... uh... did maybe stay up until 3AM waiting for results.

I'm not really acting like it's the end of the world, I'm just concerned about the future. Trump's all set to begin his presidency in 2017, so all we can do now is wait to see what the future brings.

    I stayed up as well.

something i've realised, trump is AGAINST net neutrality...

well fuck, there goes that progress

as for who i'm for, against, etc, etc didn't want clinton or trump TBH, would have preferred sanders, as he actually seems reasonable and level headed, plus i've read that he's so pro net neutrality that a picture of his face is probably on dart boards in offices of the ISP's against net neutrality

alright, i've said all i'm going to say about the election, it's over now so complaining about it isn't going to change anything as much as i hate trump

Yes, let's all do that. Talking about politics can be so depressing at times.
