Hey guys, I have noticed something, when I crashed a car in RoR at 180kph, the entire car would crumple/squash up. The rear of the car would be up against the cabin/steering wheel. Whilst in BeamNG, when I crash a car at roughly 180kph into the wall on grid, only the front (engine) crumples up and some deformation/shock to the rest of the vehicle. It is the same when I drop a car from a high location, if it lands on its nose in RoR, it would be obliterated, if in lands on it nose in BeamNG, not so much. I hope this makes sense. pf12351.

I think it because the cars in beamng are built to a more realistic spec if you watch crash test in a front end collision the back end is usually finee.

You gotta remember that RoR was created in 2005 and I believe it started as a truck simulator if I'm correct. BeamNG is a much more focused on realistic physics.

This his been talked about alot and is no new thing. Yes, in my opinion, this is not meaning to be hateful to the game, I love this game, and I may be wrong, The cabin seems a little too strong. Somewhere gabe said that in some upcoming update that there would be softer passenger compartments, if I remember correctly. But the whole thing is soft body, just some parts aren't as soft.

Meh, 180kph (111mph) would be devastating in real life, but it might not turn the truck into a cube or a totally flat pancake. So in that sense I think the game is doing a fairly realistic job.

But if you are going STUPID fast. Say, 400MPH, haha it crushes up very nicely.
