Hi i was wondering if someone or a team of people could help me with something, thursday morning around 7 and 8 am i was in a horrible accident... a lady in an equinox blew a stop sign going around 60/65mph and hit us in the gas tank on the driverside and we ended up sliding and rolling 3 times. We were in a 1997 chevrolet silverado k1500 extended cab. I would love it if someone could reenact the accident on BeamNG drive. UPDATE: We were going about 50 mph..
sure I'm trying right now but there doesn't seem to be a car equivalent to the equinox so would you rather me use something modern, like the etk 800 or something of the right size like the roamer
heres the current best attempt, just need to make the truck roll now, hope your ok with the setting and damage from the intial impact. EDIT: Made it roll over 3 times but tok a 100+mp/h hit from a roamer
Yeah that would work fine! --- Post updated --- She was my baby... i am getting a new one though --- Post updated --- Awesome dude keep up the great work. Thanks by the way!
ok nice but I can't get the d-series to flip at all with the etk so I've moved onto the roamer however, unfortunately the best i got was this but again it took about 90mp/h to get the truck to flip therefore giving the d-series way to much damage. tl:dr i don't think it is possible on a flat surface meaning i don't know if i can do this, sorry if i see anything that looks like it will work though I'll give you another message
Well when we flipped, it flipped cause we went into a little tiny ditch, the ditch was tiny but big enough to make it flip. No worries if you can't do it though.
ahh OK makes sense, unfortunately that is beyond me as that would involve creating custom ai to drive the same route over and over, sorry hope you find someone who is better than me lol
It was only at about 50 mph which when you think about it is fast but not the fastest he could've been going. This was almost a week ago too, so if he was in the hospital he'd probably be good to go by now. Also, some people might be able to withstand flipping 3 times, other might not. OT: @Frooty Sorry for your injuries and losses, hope you can get it all sorted out soon
Doesn't look too bad, and even if he was in the hospital he would still be able to post this because there is wi-fi there.
Well, I tried my best and this is what I got... I got the closest to the damage done on your 1997 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 by hitting the Gavril D25 V8 Extended Cab (modified to look like your truck) with a Gavril Roamer V8 Sport (modified ride height and 5.5L V8 engine with Stage 2 supercharger) in the following configuration. I hope this was close enough to your real life accident, @Frooty.
Hey @Frooty. Recognise the profile picture? For what it's worth, you may be able to contact someone like @bob.blunderton who may be able to quickly recreate a scene similiar to your accident to help with the authenticity side of things.
You can go into the worldeditor, use the terrain sculpting tools to create a small ditch, then put a decal road over the ditch and set the drivability of the decal road to 1.
I would imagine a seatbelt played a part of making a post about this. Can't say I've seen anyone get away that well off without one in a roll, especially 3 of them, that's alot of energy being dissipated.
