New engine noises

Will there ever be new engine noises?? like for each car or something like that??? i just really want to know because, the engine noises now are getting really old. :/

BUT THE GAME IS STILL AMAZING.

 

I'm pretty sure it's stated somewhere that the sounds right now are just temporary placeholders and there will be completely new sounds in the future. Just be patient, it will eventually come.

Yeah, the sounds are planned to be completely overhauled. I think one of the mods said somewhere that the current sounds are from rigs of rods.

 

I believe somebody created an engine sound pack, but I can't be bothered to find it right now.

I was working on a sound pack last night myself, pulled all the sounds from the McQueen movie Bullitt, but it's actually sort of complicated.
I had to mess with the lua to get things to sound decent. If I ever perfect the sounds I'll make a thread
