The mod doesn't work for me at all. I've confirmed that there are no conflicting mods my disabling all of them except for the latch mod and I am selecting it in the additional modification parts. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Same here, no clue why it doesn't work, does it need the more features mod?

It does NOT rely on the More Features Mod to function :)

Vehicle Options > Additional Modifier > Latch Mod

I have selected the Latch Mod in the additional modifications section and as I stated, it does not work. I have no conflicting mods either.

    Okay :)
Tutorial on how to enble latch mod for any modded vehicle
    1: Download the mod
2: Extract the mod's zip, you'll see this upon entering the extracted folder

    upload_2016-11-22_20-1-24.png
3: Go into "vehicles" and create the folder that is named the same way with your mod (here, it's named as CadillacDTS. To know what to name, follow the spoiler tutorial)
    upload_2016-11-22_20-1-46.png
3: Copy one of the folder's contents into your folder, depending on your mod's vehicle type (here, it's a full size sedan so i'm taking fullsize. If your vehicle is a Wagon, SUV, Coupe, i recommend selecting the correct vehicle type)
    upload_2016-11-22_20-4-7.png
4: Using notepad++, rename the lines of latch_mod.jbeam into the correct name (follow spoiler tutorial to know what to name) here, i rename it from fullsize to dts
    upload_2016-11-22_20-7-16.png
IMPORTANT: Check if your mod has the additional modification slot (usually named as *modname*_mod in the main jbeam file. If not present, create one!
4: Exit and zip things up, cut the zip into your mod folder, delete/remove unedited latch mod (if presents) and your edit should be up and running :)
For example, we have this mod
    upload_2016-11-22_20-9-15.png
Open the zip and enter the vehicles folder
    upload_2016-11-22_20-9-42.png
The folder name you see is what you need to use
Enter any jbeam file of the mod. check for slots (for example: dts_headlight) the letters that is in front of the part name is what you need. For example, in block head mod, it would be blockhead
    upload_2016-11-22_20-12-1.png
Any problem with this tutorial, feel free to tell me :)

You have to put on latch mod in the extra modifications in the vehicle config.

You have to add it in the vehicle customization. It's in the "Additional Modification" slot.

Ctrl+w to get into the parts. There there is a slot called "additional modification". Click on it and select "latch mod" from the drop down menu.
