AMD's ReLive driver has been released. Now equipped with a Shadowplay equivalent for us in red. No reason to go to the green team now.
It all depends on the Xeon used but if its anything remotely recent it will run games fine, most games don't use much CPU. Yeah I'm loving it so far, all the recordings I've tested are small and run really well. Overclocking options and the "clean install driver" options are great now too, no more need for display driver uninstaller when putting in a new GPU.
I'm loving mine. if you play at 1080p it's pretty much all the firepower you need. I had a 290x with an old and 6 core and it was plenty up until I got more ambitious in kerbal space program. having blown that card up the 480 I replaced it with is awesome. uses half the power and the power color cooler is really awesome. for what they cost I'd grab one.
I have the power color red devil 480. it's sitting next to a skylake i5 at a relaxed 4ghz. so far so good.
Oh that's only a million times better than my Sandy Bridge Xeon E5 1620... I kinda start to regret having bought an used workstation I may buy the Red Dragon version, I couldn't care less about overclocking and my PSU doesn't even have a 8 pin plug... I love the pentagram on the backplate of the card though...
