It's great when you reach a technical issue in a game/product, and are able to reach out right to the developers. Hay, call me stupid, but I've always been the person to comment on other threads, and I've only created one thread before. Can any1 help me create a thread?
In my family we have never payed for any TV, we have just had FreeView. We just have a broadband subscription, and to make up for no TV we have Netflix and Amazon Prime. I don't really see why people need those extra channels they don't use. We don't care about sports either.
At home my parents have FreeSat in the living room and FreeView in the kitchen. Since they both get slightly different channels and are free. I only have an analogue TV, which is a lot less useful than it used to be these days (since analogue got switched off ages ago). However there is a freeview box in the living room owned by the landlords which is covered by the Landlords TV Licence, if I wanted to watch TV in my room I would have to pay for my own TV licence which is not ideal. My parents have Virgin Media internet and I have Ask4 internet. However Sky is quite a major player in the UK in both TV and Internet, so to see (what I presume is the third largest) ISP get bought out by Fox who don't have the best of records (who are also owned by Rupert Murdoch) is not something I am that fond of. Changed the spark plugs in my car today. Went inside for a few minutes to clean up a coil and came back outside to see a cop car parked behind mine, and a cop walking around my car shining a flashlight into it. When he noticed me walking to the car he explained that there was a burglar alarm in the area, directly across the street, and he was making sure my car wasn't involved. Perfectly reasonable. It's parked in the street and my passenger door was wide open. He was cool about it, I was cool about it, we both went on with our days.
