Not sure if you meant to lump me into the group of those models/moders ... If so that was not a model I just ripped from a game and posted a photo -- that would not be really a self-developed model... If it was meant towards me, this is my first time ever trying to make a (whole) vehicle mod.
Back to what this thread is:
I have spent a couple hours cleaning up the mesh and refining the look to this:

Still don't like that headlight but not sure what to do about it...

@VeyronEB everyone has to start somewhere if I'm right.
I think your post was also to me. But keep in mind that I and a few others are just starting to mod, and we don't have that much time to work on it. I am making an dual engine mesh for the Cadillac DTS which you would call a cancer mod, but I just started to learn blender last Saturday so maybe you are overreacting. I always like to see more projects in the dev screens, even if they just started to work on it.

No, you didn't even post on the last page. You also haven't ripped like 20 mods that are barely even screenshot ready. Same thing goes for @RedRoosterFarm Both of you are pretty new members/modders.

I was talking about the people on the last page who have done this many times in the past with little to no effort or improvement. Learning is a whole other thing.

Modelling something yourself as you are doing, no matter how "bad" it is is also a much better thing to do, you can only learn so much ripping models from other games.

i suppose i could post this then.
I am currently trying to replicate the rear wing found on the red and white trabant hillclimb car.
    attemptatmodelling.jpg

Still need to duplicate the wing tip and moved to other side as well as slightly modify the spoiler part to be smooth and better looking.

If you have the skills, remove any reference from dodge and make it a Bruckell Traveller or something along those lines, so you can post it at the mod page.
Edit: Forget the thing about skills, i misread half the post. try doing the rebranding thing anyway.

Funny that you picked that name... I already decided to call it the Gavril Traveler...
A couple hours of mesh work on the front end ... I kinda like the headlights now ...

I'd agree with you on the lights, but now that they're quite slim, the grille looks a little incongruous.

More work on the ETK 525 (creative name, I know)

This time, giving it a proper engine (by proper, I mean ported from the etk i series)

    screenshot_00053.png screenshot_00054.png screenshot_00056.png

I've decided that, because of it's size, this will end up being a fullsize sedan, rather than a midsize sedan like the etki. So this etk will be tuned more for comfort than performance (though that doesn't mean it'll be slow. It is a turbocharged etki engine).

Speaking of engines, I wonder if I should give this a v8, or maybe a small v12?

When its good enough. The original Russian dude who made (ported) it decided to combine all of the suspension components into one model (shocks, swaybars, axles) which means nothing on its undercarriage is animated.

The next thing I have to do first is:
Thats the next step. I did change the taillights a bit (definitely not enough though). I have a lot to go on that part, but I need to make sure the rest works first.

You can't really see much difference between these two pictures, but the second one is the most recent, and if you change the pictures really fast you'll be able to notice the change, I think the last one will feel more appealing to you :) *I shortened the rear overhang and the wheelbase overall*
