You may be blown away, Im curling up into a ball and crying since I may have to do some overhauls for the car I am making to bring it up to date However if the change is for the better (which it almost certainly is) I am all for it, especially since the conversion guides that have been posted already seem to be very useful. So hopefully it shouldn't be too bad, plus it gives another opportunity to tidy things up again and add new features in that I have in general forgotten about. Its especially nice to see that backwards compatibility has been left in though, otherwise it would have been like hitting a solid wall trying to get all of the vehicle parts updated in one go without being able to debug frequently.
Dude. They updated the QA branch, aka the beta testers for the update. If thats updated, it doesn't matter, we won't be affected.
While I do get the update queued joke and find it funny, I definitely think there are people out there that won't get it. If I've learned anything about the internet, people can be easily offended by even the weakest joke.
Stop making these fake "updates" just because it's a Friday, tdev even said a few pages back that it won't happen today. Also, the first signs of an update is if tdev writes a changelog (for either the blog or wiki) and if the bug report thread gets locked, then shortly afterward Steam will say "Update Queued."
Yup, going have to get on the grind to update my mods one the repo also . All well change, is for the better and I know I'm gonna have a ball when I start messing around with parameters. Especially torque converter parameters, I have been waiting for a revamp power train code since day one of beam and it's finally almost here. Can't wait
This thread: It's gonna be awhile = 5% speed Update within a month = 50% speed Update within a week = 95% speed Update within a day = 100% speed Update passed (for a couple of days) = 95% speed The thread right now = 99.999% speed
Guys, you can wait 8 more days (9 for some parts of the world). Have a bit of patience. @tdev said it would be out by December 25. I vote for Christmas day release. It'll be a Christmas present from the devs to this community. And most people wait for Christmas to open their presents.
Where did he wrote it? And some dev said already it come before christmas http://www.beamng.com/threads/update-speculation-thread.20246/page-126#post-493016
They update the qa branch almost every day even last month ok, stop getting hyped because they update it 5 times a day, they confirmed its going to be next week so they are going to get the update ready for the public branch so they are going to update it more which is pretty obvious. Its next week, end of story.
If that's the case, why isn't there anything about the update in the devblog or a thread for 0.8? I even checked my Steam downloads. . . nothing.
