use smaller cars and strip some parts off

 

Every car has almost everything stripped off. The size of the cars is not the problem. If I used smaller cars, that would only make the cars extremely small in comparison to the monster truck.
I can see this being possible with some less detailed cars instead of the stock cars from the game, but having a lot of cars in one area really kills the fps. I'll be sticking to basic blender car models for now.

i like this paint scheme alot i wish somebody would make an Nvidia skin for us Nvidia users

 

each car takes up at most 1 CPU core so it does kill FPS. would a simple deformable prop be applicable?

 

A simple prop would definitely be the solution, but I have yet to find one.
