Ever since I got my hard drive replaced, BeamNG has been using onedrive to store all of the game's contents (normally located in documents under This PC), but when I try to move all the files from OneDrive to My Documents (on my hard drive) BeamNG makes a whole new game folder in OneDrive and saves my downloaded mods there. I didn't notice this until I manually downloaded a mod (instead of just clicking "Install") and manually tried to put it in the mods folder in my documents, but there was no game folder there, then I realized it's saving on OneDrive. And now the OneDrive storage is full. Can someone help me with this problem?

First try verifying integrity of game cache by right clicking BeamNG in Steam, clicking Local files tab and then "Verify integrity of game cache..." If that doesn't work then click "Delete local game content" and ensuring absolutely anything related to BeamNG is deleted. (like in steam/steamapps/common and make sure BeamNG is gone and delete the contents from the OneDrive.) Then redownload through Steam again

Ok, I'm redownloading it, I'll tell you if it's working or not.

AFAIK OneDrive has this feature which copy all your Documents folder into the cloud.
You need to disable it, or everything you put in there will get copied in the cloud, which is not what you want.

Also, BeamNG.Drive by default uses the C:/User/yourname/Documents folder.

You can change that by editing the 'startup.ini' file in the game main directory.

Also, for in the future, if you are using firefox, you can go into the firefox settings, and on the top tab you will see, "Save downloads to:" You could easily change the download location this way as well. Hope this was just as helpful as Nadeox1's response.

Speaking of that, my mods that I manually download are downloading in the temp folder.

Yes, that happens to me as well with the files that I download from other sites. But that is an easy fix.
