On the gavril g15 i can see only one pair of headlights are lit up. and the turn signals are on. Does that mean we'll be getting some hi-beams or even better working turn signals because that would be awesome

Amazing work guys, just awesome. You guys are way past anything I was expecting from this game. I've been waiting for a game like this for ever. I played Grid which had pretty good damage models and of course GTA IV which has great damage, especially with some of the mods out there, but I never thought I'd ever see a game like this. I can't wait to play this. Keep up the spectacular work guys! :)

I'll be honest the visual aspect of Beam NG is absolutely stunning. From the first moment I saw the video I thought the graphics were good. So far, it appears as if you guys have been working over time to bring this work into the light. I can not wait to see how well it runs.

    A couple questions.
    1. I have a Dell Inspiron and it ran Rigs Of Rods at about 25/35 fps. I can run tf2 as well. Will I be able to run this game?
    2. Will there be slippery textures? Ice, Snow, Rain, Dirt, etc.
    3. Is there a projected finish date?

Thanks for answering any of these questions.

    1. You'll be fine
    2. I hope so too, it was possible in RoR
    3. Unknown at this time but in this coming year a demo is planned.

I am so happy i have gone through every post of this thread, and i am speachless this game will be amazing, i am also so happy that you guys got a better graphics engine (cryengine3). rigs of rods ogre engine was (no offense) terrible graphics but amazing physics this right here is the perfect combo.

    Rigs Of Rods + CRYengine3 = BeamNG

This game will be amazing and is on my wishlist and a definite buy. :D

Hehe, They are no longer using CryEngine 3 and have infact replaced it with Torque 3D which looks highly promising for the future development of BeamNG in all aspects :D

i am sorry to say, but you must have missed that beamng switched from cry engine 3 to torque3d. so beamng is not gonna run on cry engine 3 anymore, but on torque 3d. just wanted to say. on topic. gabe will you be able to put stickers and paint jobs on the cars to by just using the modification menu. (or what you guys call it) greets siebeiscool

Does the switch to Torque3D change the possibility to use CryEngine to make terrains though? :p

Hutch has already suggested the possibility of porting the terrain itself to another person, who had in fact already made a terrain. However the assets were not so easy/nigh impossible to port over according to him. So personally I would highly suggest creating any future maps in the Torque editor for ease and use with the final product. BeamNg has already stated that they are no longer affiliated in anyway to the Cryengine and those parties to are within.
