thats the behavior of the transmission i'm talking about acctually controlling gearshifts manually and that is not in "Options -> Gameplay" as far as i can see
The interior seats on the Le Gran are much too sharp, it looks like they just need a lighter edge split or may have just not had smooth shading applied. Also some problems with the very low res textures as they look really out of place. The front ones in particular. Some more bevelling inside would be nice though especially with the door panels. Loving the update so far though, much more than I was expecting
My bad. For that, go in Part Selector > Engine > Transmission (usually). In the vehicle selector automatic cars have (A) in the configuration name, while (M) for manual. The same for DCT and CVT.
I'm getting "Fatal Vehicle Exception. Please reload vehicle." Reloading the car doesn't work. Restarting the game doesn't work.
I love the update. This is a long-time gripe but Engines seem far too responsive. Setting up the engine inertia removes my gripe but still.
Another small quirk engine debug app always shows the transmission is in neutral when its not. for example going down the road in 4th gear it will show "N" not the current gear.
the car i'm currently driving has a manuel transmission and it wont let me change the gears with my xbone controller even though the controls are registered and was working before the patch
Quick test of the new scenario A Rocky Start. Should it end at some point in the first mission ? Because I sended that Covet down the cliff and it has been down there on its place for 5 mins, and nothing happens. Other than that, performance is okay, no negative effect on me at least. Gotta test the next the new car out. Good job devs!
I do notice a few things. The LeGran's hood seems to be unstable in high speed front impacts. When it falls off (or if taken off via nodegrabber) it seems to "vibrate" across the ground. Its hard to get a screenshot of it, but on gridmap, when in the LeGran, if you drive and accelerate from spawn to the far wall towards your front, the impact will show the problem. The speed is at around 100 miles per. Also, related to high-speed front impacts in the LeGran, the front wheels will begin to spin at an increasingly fast rate after the crash (if they are still attached). Brakes don't seem to affect them. But it doesn't seem to happen if the wheels touch anything after the crash or during it (like if the crash causes the car to roll over forwards) All tested without mods. Nothing serious though. Which is nice.
Press Q instead. It looks like that the option in 'Options > Gameplay' takes effect after you change or reload the vehicle.
Any update for "Humble Bundle" users coming today? Or should I reluctantly install 'Steam client' to get it naow?
it was super slow to upload there, no idea why. Its processing with them now and should be available soon
Thank you, thank you, thank you All good now....sorry, I should have waited just two more minutes before posting
it fixed it it tried it before and it diden't seem to work then but it works now thanks for your help and thank YOU and the rest of the team for a nice early christmas present
I'm also running into this issue. I tried clearing the cache, running it in safe mode, and reinstalling the game. EDIT: I figured out that the G27 shift indicator LEDs were causing this issue.
Love the new LeGran! Except for a few things, also including what @VeyronEB has said. In some parts, it just seems a tad bit unfinished. The centre console where the cubby holes are and where an armrest would go, seem a little lacking in detail and texture. I am glad and I am sure @Nadeox1 is glad that NLabs continues to work to this day! Also, I love the "engine is off" feature. rip @StinchinStein 's modding career
I found a bug. In the garage mod if I take a picture then the buttons fog or the buttons too are still there like in the picture:
