I'm looking at 80s cars too now since the release of the LeGran :^) Totally forgot that my aunt has an '88 LeSabre just rotting in the woods up north by the upper peninsula that I was supposed to get for my first car. I'm thinking of saving up money and taking it off her hands, getting rid of the mice, then fixing the car to be a future classic. But, it all depends on how much I can save.
I heard this on the radio and realized it would be the perfect song for tankslapping down a deserted, snowy backroad. Doing that to this song is officially on my automotive bucket list now. Or this one might do in a pinch.
Fixed my spluttering excel as of yesterday and have been on 2 drives since now. It drives so smoothly now, no longer jumps back and forwards in first gear with the clutch. All that was needed was to grab the throttle posion sensor off of the spare engine which came with and excel we bought from a friends wrecking yard for $200. Part is $55 new on ebay but saved us atleast $20 and some time for not having to search around for one.
It reminds me a lot of modern Chevrolets like the Cruze and the Malibu. However, I don't think it's a bad looking car. I guess it's a similar scenario to how the Dodge Charger was a two door back in the day, and now it's a four door nowadays.
Ah yes. the Ferrari Lamborghini, very rare and obscure car, I'm surprised you got to see one in person.
Im really hoping it snows this year because i have a corvette while my challenger is at the service and i want to drift it.
Huh apparently they sold Valiant chargers in Japan. Unlike the Mazda Roadpacer there is no known leftover examples that I know of.
