I noticed that it deforms a little unrealistically compared to it's real life counterparts. It's similar to the BMW 318i but still a little dramatic.

None of that stuff is relative to the i series etk, the audi and merc are much more modern and the bmw is smaller. The real life counterpart tho it is the 77' BMW E23

No, they are all 1985 and the i series is mainly base d off od the A100, 190E, And The 318i. The '77 is too old as the I-Series began production in 1985 and ended in 1993. Not only is it similar in shape, engine options, and weight, But it has a similar interior to all of them. BMW steering wheels and gauges, and the bmw interior trims and materials. It may not be the 318i but it is one of a similar body style and chassis style, therefore it SHOULD deform similarly.

Nope, the I-series is based off of the I-series!
Here's my horribly edited I-series convertible.

I usually hate "looks like" comments, but I still gotta say this BMW 700 concept drawing from 1985 I found reminded me of ETK:

Especially in that rear pillar, the resemblance is uncanny

Well, the Hoffmeister Kink is a rather obvious design clue BMWs have had since the late '60.

The most interesting feature I see in that sketch is the front light treatment. While no BMW production vehicle of the time had rectangular headlights, both this (discarded) design proposal and the ETK i do.

Well, considering that the newer ETKs weigh almost 2 metric tons (whereas the 2400 is fairly light), that would mean even with more powerful engines the power/weight ratio is the same, not to mention the newer ETKs have much taller gearing than the old one, so it would make sense that they are close in terms of acceleration.

Yea, I agree with that statement, but take into consideration that a 325i is about 3 seconds slower 0-60 than a 335i. This is completely different from the game as the late 80's car is as fast or faster than the new car.

Might only be me, but this car is released already, but with a different name, known as ETK I-Series! (Also, this says ''ETK 2400i'', so maybe!)

Another thing, look at the forum location ''Content created by BeamNG'', where is a ETK I-Series?

I'm pretty certain this is the ETK I-Series!

This is the I series. No doubt about it. It just had the name of 2400i in the development phase and was then changed to I-series.

After having used (and fought against) this car several times in the Demolition Derby Sunday Cup mod, I can fully confirm that this car is nowhere near a good car to use for demo-derbies, just like its modern brethren....

...except in the opposite direction. This car is the ultimate demo-derby car, in my opinion.

Unlike the 800/K, which can pretty much be minced up by almost anything if you hit them right; the Covet/Miramar/Pessimas, which aren't strong enough or fast enough to do hard-core damage to most vehicles; or the D/H/Roamer, which can barely turn well enough to avoid running into the barriers inside a small demo-derby arena; the I-Series has the strength, speed, and handling to destroy just about anything in its path.

It's got a rear end that's so strong, it might as well serve as a battering ram during a castle siege. Combine that with its quick acceleration and decent maneuverability, and a cross-map shunt from one of these could immobilize a truck if that truck was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Unlike the American full-size cars, though, it can easily out-maneuver just about anything. Its rear-wheel-drive drivetrain and excellent handling make it apt for controlling reversing maneuvers, and I can embarrass a whole pack of chasing trucks in this thing. I'd say that it can handle better than the 800/K, and come close to matching the Covet in maneuvers.

It's also got plenty of power to move it around dangerously fast. Whereas some demo-derby cars (like the LeGran, Burnside, and H-Series) take a long while to get up to speed, the I-Series can rapidly accelerate up to full ramming speed, making it a difficult vehicle to avoid if you're not watching well enough. Its power also allows it to slide around for a rear-end slap on a D/H/Roamer, which could send that truck straight into a barrier, rolling it in the process.

Overall, the I-Series is like a smaller, more maneuverable tank compared to the actual tanks of demo-derbies. It will easily go toe-to-toe against a Burnside, Grand Marshal, or D/H/Roamer, and then out-maneuver them down a mountain pass. It's a quintessential '80s German sedan, and it's absolutely amazing.
