Fatal Vehicle Error

I haven't entirely read the previous page, so pardon me if stuff is being repeat.

'Fatal Vehicle Exception' is throw when something in the vehicle files is not working right.
The 0.8.0.0 update brought a completely re-written powertrain code. While we have a compatibility layer for mods made with the older system, it may not always work.

1. First thing you have to do is disable all your mods. Those can break stuff badly at each update. Starting from them is the best thing.
Use Safe Mode.
If you are not sure it's working, go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive and delete everything. Backup anything you do not want to loose first, but do not put anything back until you are sure the base game is working.
Failing to do that will not solve any issue, so please make sure you are following these instructions as written.

2. The problem is still there? Unfortunate.
That means that the problem could be coming from the actual game directory.
Sometimes Steam likes to corrupt some files when downloading an update.

3. That didn't work either? That's pretty bad.
At this point, it could be that some file is indeed badly broken in your game installation, but Steam is not able to find it.
A clean reinstall at this point is the best solution, but also the most drastic.

It is important to follow this exactly as written. Do it in different ways or order and it may not work.

The chances of the issues persisting after a clean reinstall (If done correctly) are near zero (Minus particular cases..)

Only on DCT cars, you may get that error when spawning one. Simply reloading the vehicle with CTRL+R should fix it. We are aware of the issue and looking at it.
