I have noticed that there are people on the forums who beleive that every LeGran ever is a grandpa mobile with no power, but i have realised that a you get further up the board on versions, the damn thing is really fast. just my opinion, @55Buick
@55Buick, I see where you're going with this. Since the LeGran is like the lovechild of a 1980s Chrysler New Yorker, and a 1990s Dodge Spirit, I can see why people are calling it a "grandpa mobile", which the base model fits the definition like a glove. However, sport variants are more like aftermarket, or factory-equipped variants. So, the LeGran in hindsight, is a granny mobile, but other variants will completely shatter that expectation.
it is surprisingly fast, I did a derby between a base legran and a base pessima and when gong forward it blew the doors off the pessima even when it had a busted radiator and 2 flats
i actually like the le-gran. is it a fwd boat? yes. is it slow? yes. can it pretty much survive anything you throw at it? yes.
I'm actually fairly surprised to see it get the 3.8L never mind the S/C 3.8L. The Century/Cutlass Ciera got the 3.8 in 1984 although it was replaced by the 3.3L in 1989. I thought the base V6 would be the 2.8L V6 with an optional 3.3L That is my personal favorite in the real life Cutlass Ciera (and the model I'm looking for). The 4-cylinder engines are right on par with what I thought they would be, big, slow revving and none of that fancy overhead cam non-sense.
And you complain about other peoples spelling.. Seriously, if your comeback to anyone disagreeing with you is "stfu", "good spelling" and the latest post of yours then you're the kid here. Please stop the nonsense fighting. Somewhat OT: I kinda like the Legran actually. It was limited to fwd only but modders quickly solved that. Quite an nice car to drive around in beam.
Legran looks like a crystler (sic?) new yorker in the front, a cutlass ciera (late 80s early 90s) on the side and interior, and a town-car style set of lights in the back (it mirrors the olds except the reflective strip). I positively despise the cutlass ciera, so I really enjoy crushing it into little itty-bitty bits. The corrupt undercover piggies were using one a while back so it's doubly-fun to crush the facsimile of the car they used to use to try and set me up (for anything under the sun). For what it's worth I am 'retired' now in my mid 30s and several public servants and informants were charged, imprisoned, and/or fired. Great car to CRUSH, CRUSH, CRUSH. That being said, I like regular cars like this, they are great for accident creation. Think I'll go fire up Tennessee Roane County map I made and go stick one on the train tracks now!
