Hey guys, I purchased BeamNG from Humble Bundle, and I just noticed the new update. I don't want to have to go to HumbleBundle, uninstall Beam, reinstall it, and then also most likely lose my 120 mods I've downloaded so far. How can I simply update Beam without having to uninstall and reinstall (and lose mods)? By "simply update", I mean so that it can update with only the press of a button. Thanks guys! I really wanna enjoy all the new content without having to deal with the trouble of the HumbleBundle update, as presented by the BeamNG developers.

P.s. Man, now I really wish I just had Steam :p

When you purchase the game via Humble Bundle, you also get a Steam Key, to activate your copy on that platform.
Steam is free to have, the only thing you pay for is buying game's of course.

oh another question, does getting the game on Steam mean I lose my mods? If I activate the game on Steam with the Steam key. Will it basically give me the default game without any mods? Or will it simply transfer the mods and files to the Steam account?

    Mods are saved in Documents/BeamNG.Drive.

Any game version will use that folder by default.
So no, moving from Humble Bundle to Steam will not have any effect on that (unless you set a different path in the 'startup.ini' file in the game's folder - In that case you can just move your mods. Nothing will ever touch that folder)

Hey Nadeox, another question (sorry I keep having these questions) So I'm on Steam, and I have the account and everything, with the key redeemed and the game ready, but the only available option is to download the full game file (taking 1 hr 24 min on 1024 kb/s connection). What should I do? Considering my 120+ downloaded mods (cars, maps, and UI) might get lost in the process.

Thanks, again, for helping me out through this. You can probably tell I'm new to PC gaming in general :p
