i've been having the same problem on some skins... but i just can't believe 17&1/2 red bulls haven't made me pass out... yet
1. Do not name your .Jbeam file the same name of the base .Jbeam of the ETKI. Use a different name (even if it's going to be in a subfolder). 2. Use DDS for colormap, not PNG. 3. Use this naming for the color map file: 'YOURNAME_uv1.dds'
I don't understand what you mean. What do you want to remove? What do you want to keep? If you have no intention of making it a color-able skin you just need: configuration_name.json (If you want the configuration to show in the vehicle selector) (Do not use INFO.JSON. That's the base .json file, not the configurations .json file) configuration_name.pc (If you want the configuration to show in the vehicle selector) skintexture.dds (The skin itself) skinpart.jbeam (For it to show in the part selector, needed) materials.cs (Needed) If you also want it to be color-able, you just need to also add: colorpalette.dds (needed)
What I mean is, everything in the info.json file I copied from the ETK's Steam files is exactly the same as the base file (well, the info.json prior to the new update), except there is the addition of taxi yellow as a color, which I copied over from the Grand Marshal's info.json file. Do I have to keep all that information that states the name of the car, the country it came from, its default color, default configuration, and its list of colors? Edit: Actually, I don't want to do that. I cleared a lot of the information and kept colors just for taxi yellow, and the I-Series was redefined as unknown, with an empty page for the car.
In future @MisterKenneth, do not edit your posts to say "EDIT: Solved". All you need to do is edit the title to solved and this will tell people that your problem has in fact been solved. When you delete your posts it makes it hard for people to look at the thread to see if they have had the same issue as you. There are many people who need some extra help when they run into trouble and hreads like these can help a great deal (if the posts are left how they are).
