    I might see if i can get the one i used in my first mod working. I think it had around 1700hp and up to around 4500rpm. If its not too hard it might even give me some motivation to revive my performace engine mod. If i get it working i will post the jbeam in here.

    Yeah well there is a bit of difference in the new engine code. the one that i cant figure out is maxtorque. its not in the new codes and i dont know whats the equivalent of that.

    This is basically the updted version of the jbem from my original mod. Makes 1700hp and over 3500nm's of torque, has no trouble of doing a burnout and powerskid in 8th gear using the 10 speed gearbox. I can make a much higher Hp version if you want but I like to try to keep it in the realms of realism.

    Seriously tho, currently testing it and it seems perfect. ever more then the previous engine. the previous one was honestly a bit too op.

    If its ok with you, i would like to use your engine :)
    I will do everything tonight and hopefully i can release this sometime this week.

    Yeah, a lot of work was put in the model and im planning a 6x4 version of it with pretty accurate engine specs.

    But as of now the cab spikes and its just awful.
    I replaced the gta suspension with the one from the t series and modified it a bit as well.

    Also made hinges for the cab to open like a real one which is an ottawa commando

    Its pretty good looking. hopefully i can fix the spiking issue of the cab.

    Oh man, you are so awesome, there just aren't that many TRUE gta converts on the forums (maybe because of rockstar?)

    Nah, rockstar and take2 doesnt really care about that. but i know why there arent a lot of them on the forum.
    Models arent that easy to get a hold of if you are new to this kind of stuff, even if you arent it took me a long time before i get a hold of them. but a lot of work is required in those models. just because of the way that the meshes are made and all that.
    Ive been going crazy over industrial vehicles lately and i would love to get the crane and all those crazy things in beamng since i think that it lacks industrial vehicles such as those.
    I also started this before the dock tug but i dont think ill finish it since i have to make a suspension by myself and im not that good at it. not giving out random reason why i dont wanna make it, but i havent given up on suspension stuff yet. i still try from time to time. i want to learn how to make them properly so badly but its really difficult.

    well, i can modify gta v pretty well using openiv, and i know how to extract the models, I just don't know how to convert them. HOWEVER, i can convert COLLIDA files to SketchUp files.
    PS. It's a damn shame the cutter's only used once in the game, huh

    its getting them from the ytf format to a usable format thats the issue. without zmodeler 3 which costs money its very difficult.
    but seeing how i got a model from a professional crash testing thing into a obj format, i think i can manage to get pretty much anything that i want now lol.

    So, Suppose i wanted to do this without spending money, get models from the sketchup repository, convert them to .dae then learn jbeam?

    if i remember well, sketchup's dae is completely broken so idk.

    Thats amazing. there is so much detail in those vertices plus there is some missing.
    That is absolutely amazing. if you wanna make the geo metro and need help id be happy to help with the jbeam.
