Where are all the offroad trucks at?

i see theres not too much support for offroading and trucks. or am i wrong and just not looking in the right place. also what happened to the mod d15 live rear axle. i see it on youtube but all links are deleted.

 

I imagine many Off-Road mods were focusing on transmissions. As the last update (which came out right before Christmas) completely revamped the transmission system, that means that all of those mods are no longer functional.

The community will adapt to the new system with time and new (better with the new system) mods will be possible/made.

 

If you're just talking about trucks, I'll list all of the notable off-roading models in order from left to right in the garage. Gavril D-Series with the 4WD, Off-Road, Marauder, Pig, Extended Cab Off-Road, and Beast models; Gavril Roamer with the 4WD, 4WD XT, Sheriff Off-Road, and Off-Road models; Gavril H-Series H12 Vanster Off-Road.

I believe all of them can switch between RWD and 4WD and low/high rangebox settings with alt+S and alt+A respectively. The Beast and probably some others can also change between a locked and open differential with alt+D. The Ibishu Hopper is unreleased but may take top spot as the most capable off-roading truck when it's out.

If you look at some of the cars, you'd be surprised where the Gavril Barstow RoadSport and Bruckell Moonhawk V8 Sport will go if driven right, albeit with more war wounds. You can also setup the Sunburst to match the Port Shakedown version for off-roading ability beyond the rally models. Any new off-roading mods will also likely have more features under the expanded drivetrain modeling of 0.8.
