Want an HQ fuel tank like the one I use on my trucks? It should be easy to swap out the old one....

    I already have one. :)

If you authorize me, I could well swap it in.

    Will do.

Trying to get the truck in working order for a "public" release right now, but this is definitely going in my "to do" list.

If you ever manage to have free time, would it be at all possible to make it so where the arms on zombie connect to the body can rotate a bit? (if this needs more explaining let me know)
And also move the Zombie on the sides a little closer to the arm.

This has also been happening to the arms a lot recently.

    Mmh, this is highly unlikely.
I'll look into it, but it's probably unavoidable.

any chance of a yellow zombie in the future?
knowing you you must already have a rainbow of zombies ready to invade (see Perpetual Destruction for more info)

Actually, no, we have nothing like that in the making yet. Variations in Perpetual Destruction colors were fairly easy to implement, being based on a solid color body texture. Yellow Zombie wouldn't be that easy.

We kind of postponed any new skin/bodystyle additions for now, there's so much work going on with the functional parts that we didn't have the time to think about it.

my only two complaints right now are the engine sounds and the weakness of the suspension parts.

    Both are being looked into.

I find it a bit odd that the suspension is being considered "weak", when it was actually strengthened significantly when compared to 2.0, but I'll see what I can do about this regardless.

I didn't think it was too weak. In fact I found it near impossible to break the upper 4link mounts where they connect to chassis. One of those things that will always be able to use fine tuning..

it's not weak, it's inconsistent. the upper 4 links almost never break while a small bump may end up breaking the lower 4 links.

also, when rolling the bigfoot body, the lights don't break. the custom sounds don't get outta wack on any other mod

We're looking into it now. We are noticing an undocumented change with 0.8.0 with how some things are connected.

We fixed the tie-rod breakage by making it a separately beamed structure, basically added tie-rod ends, instead of just 2 nodes with a single beam connecting them. We're going to try to apply this to the drive-shaft and the 4-link bars. It's apparently required now.

U-joints for driveshafts, and heim-joints for 4-links, in the works...

and lights and sound and all of that. :D

Mh, probably an issue on your end. Clear cache, you're probably using obsolete files for Bulldozer.

70% strength, same result. I could lift the truck a bit, but then the hood came off.

.....imho, the fiberglass should be VERY weak so it breaks off easily. it's only about 8 bolts holding the body panel on. (can't find a pic but Adam Anderson showed what holds the bodies on and it ain't much)

Well, look, while in real life it's just 8 bolt, we need support beams for the panel to stay in place and also not to rattle or collapse. A perpendicular force can't simply break the support beams (there's a rigidifier in the middle that prevents that, anyway) that would trigger the detachment of the panel.

The hood is designed to come off on impacts, not to break when pulled by an invisible force controlled by a Godly Mousewheelâ„¢.

See the problem is with game mechanics. We cant go reducing latch strength - because then the hood gets all wobbly when going over jumps. The beams that control when the hood pops off are designed to break on impacts. Not from pulling hoods with node grabber. If you want verify consistency - run each truck into the same wall at 60mph, or drop from 100ft in the air. Do they all break off? Perfect. Next problem...

edit: Just realized I had gotten Ninjad by F2YS who explained the same thing a few moments before this :)
