OK, seems like we got some Tokyo Drift fans. --- Post updated --- And just stop with this silly argument about what car it was.
2003 mercury sable GS (does it have a sunroof?). I owned and 03 and a few 92s, a 94 taurus (same thing). Loved them all, great COMFORTABLE cars. A bit pokey by todays standards but perfectly fine to get you to work. Parts are dirt cheap and everywhere, and it has cupholders and remote trunk release/ door unlock remote. My 03 even had adjustable pedals and power seats. What more to ask? ...and if someone hits it, you DONT CARE, because it's very probably it didn't do much of anything to it, and it didn't cost a lot in the first place! That being said, the volvo 850 above is a very nice car, slightly more comfortable, a bit more reliable, but costs a bit more. I am on a fixed income, so it has to be reasonably dependable (again, within reason), cheap parts, and comfy.
...you realize this is a "what car would you want to drive in F&F" thread and not a "what car could you see yourself reasonably getting as a daily driver" thread right?
Yes, I have an injured back, so I need something comfortable, not something that's gonna make my discs slip everytime i hit a pebble.
1999 Mitsubishi GTO/3000GT VR4 (Twin-Turbo 3.0L V6 Engine, 300HP). If this car was lighter it would be a beast! But I'd still love to drive one in F&F. The aggressive front and the giant rear spoiler. And It was one of the most technologically advanced cars of the time.
Maybe some sort of classic supercar? Jaguar E-Type, Ferrari 250, Gordon-Keeble, Corvette C3... that sort of thing.
