I think it has something do do with the Windows 10 update. I have done this before and at most it was about 900mb.
ahh, the wonders of owning a macbook air now, i got the charger for it and i updated it all etc. the EC is just programmed wrong for thermals, so i have a program to change the fan speed. Its literally minimum fan speed up to 75c core temp, then it thinks about it and past 80c its full fan speed, sometimes I've seen it go shooting up to 87c without that much of a movement from the fans. its just bad. Also the Geforce 320M is overpowered for this laptop, doing GPU intensive stuff can cause the core temp to go well past 90c. I wouldn't be surprised if it thermally throttles
Planning on "upgrading"(read-replacing) my laptop. Have pretty much decided on a MSI GP62MVR 6RF Leopard Pro. It has an Intel I7-6700HQ and a nVidia GeForce GTX 1060 3gb, also 8gb of ddr4 ram. Question is, is it going to be good enough for next 5-8 years? And yes, it must be a laptop, since I have to move around a lot with it. It's priced at 1499€, seems fair enough, and it's also the max I can spend. And ordering from abroad isn't reasonable due to shipping and possible guarantee repairs.
I need cell phone advice. I have a note 4 coming up on 2 years and I like the phone. I broke the camera while underneath my car, and the 10amp hour battery growing tired. what's a good debloatable phone with removable battery and micro SD slot? I can get a note 3 new outside my carrier for 250 bucks. someone told me to look into the one plus phones? I LOVED the note 3 and would be happy with another one with just barebones android on it. thoughts from the android gurus?
The OnePlus phones are more expensive than that Note 3 you mentioned, although they have excellent specs for the price they are considered "budget" but it's around £400 if I'm not mistaken. The Moto G4 Plus is $250 brand new, even with "moto maker" customisation. It has dual sim if you buy from the Motorola website and also has a MicroSD card slot supporting up to 256GB of storage. It runs pretty much stock Android and will get 7.0 soon, as it's already out in India. It has a 5.5 inch screen and if I'm not mistaken that's almost the size, or the same, as the Note 4. I have one.
I'm willing to pay for more power but do I need it? I use my phone a lot but mostly for navigation, browsing, guitar tuning app, and the ocasional Gameboy emulator. the note 3 did all that and more so I'm wondering should I really blow 7 or 800 on a google pixle? 5.5 inch display is a good size for me, I'm tall and have really big hands. my note 4 sometimes lags when I'm typing and I feel like the os is super bloated and the that's a reason I'm having issues. never getting a phone thru my carrier again.
The OnePlus 3T has very similar specs at a much, much lower price than the Pixel. The OnePlus even has more ram than the Pixel, so if money is important the OnePlus would likely be a better choice. Both of them have larger batteries than your Note 4, plus the OnePlus has pretty much the fastest charging on the market right now.
T Th t3 is really nice but what happens after 5 or 600 charge cycles when the battery capacity takes a 50 percent hit? I'll eat that up in 18 months guaranteed. can I still open the phone and replace the cell?
It's probably possible but it's a non removable battery, so you'd probably need to use a heatgun to get inside. Many high-end phones seem to not have removable batteries these days, only cheap ones :/
I would go for the 3 since it is a bit cheaper, yes the battery life is a tad shorter and the processor is a miliherz slower but you won't notice it. I have it, the battery lasts a day, updates are coming soon and it works just great.
i would wait for the OP4 since its gonna come with the S830/S835 chipset, which is gonna be an octa core but using the same cores (effectively double the multicore performance [not taking into account thermals] ) Most phones dont matter about the battery, i think i put a decent 1000 cycles on my 5S and it still went fine, just it died on 2% instead of 1% but otherwise its fine
So many choices. I'm honestly leaning towards a note 3 again. I just want a phone I can use for a solid 3 years or so. The note 3 or the one plus 3?
I I don't know do i? it's between the note 3 and the one plus and maybe some unknown LG phone or the g4 if that has a removable bat. thanks dudes.
Finally got my replacement GPU! Does anyone know the best settings for an overclock for my MSI RX 460 2GB?
My brother got an FX 4300 from CeX... It arrived in bubblewrap in a bag... This is just dumb. Got the pins bent back but haven't tested it yet :/
