Also you could sell them at hamfests/computerfests if there are any in your area

If I was home right now I could tell you. Ask Hemi. He is good with this kind of stuff. I can tell you once I get home later tonight.

A passkey is something the servers use to both confirm your identity and to prevent others from stealing it. Once you generate one you enter it into your client and this will ensure you are folding under your username. It is not entirely needed but is nice just to have things be a bit more secure and straightforward. You can generate one here.

can you also tell me how to join the team and get a client like bubble's in the first post?

Something is strange with this software I think. I put it on highest on my old laptop and it was using 60% of my cpu and getting 230points, but when i put the slider to lower levels like light and idle my cpu goes to 100% and the point goes up. It's an old slow amd laptop

I don't really know why that's happening. 230 points is normal if it's an old laptop.

You just have to enter 224614 into your settings, and you will then be folding under that team. His different looking client is just using a skin which is easy enough to google and learn how to do.

It's just weird that the points per day went up to a higher number when i turned the slider down. It seems like it's being more predictable now. Slider goes up and points go up.

I did enter it but i didn't see my name under the stats page so I didn't think I was on the team. It's there now though. Thanks.

I may get another computer on it this weekend, and if I can find an appropriate socket t motherboard I can put my old pentium dual-core to use. Anybody got a core 2 duo compatible atx (or even btx) board i could have for shipping?

edit: got one off ebay we're all good

Ok, since I haven't posted in a while I decided I might as well post a catch all.

First off; Yes, it can be spelled duck or duct tape.
Secondly; I'm still not folding. :(
Next; my 1000th post was on the 10th page of this thread.
Last, if any knows anything about a project (dc or otherwise) for a cure for chrones, I would appreciate it if you would tell me about it. (I can't find one, but the internet is a massive place) a great friend has it.

P.S. All the electrons of the internet would weigh about one strawberry.

If you go into the task manager set f@h to high priority. That might work.

I have joined! The problem is, I can't fold 24/7 like you guys because I only run my computer when I actually use it..

SUCK MY 5.4GHZ POWAHH. Ignore the HWMonitor temps. They are off by like 40 deg F. (Water cooling. On the stock cooler it would say like 110F max at 3.6ghz)
