    does anybody know where the lua for the performance testing is located , and hpw itis called?

    same problem here, i searched into documents and in the main game folder but i found nothing

    My vehicle fails (rather spectacularly) to complete the test course.

    Does that mean I'll have to do without performance statistics for the time being? :(

    Gets off the track and tips over fairly easily... :D

    EDIT - I see that the testing procedure can move on as soon as the vehicle gets severe damage, so I sort of made it to the acceleration tests.

    Uh you're saying your car exits the offroad course to the sides? That's certainly something I haven't planned with :D
    Can you maybe send me that vehicle in a PM or so, so that I can see what's the best way to fix this issue?

    The test stops as soon as the car stops moving btw.

    Yep, it's tall enough to climb the retention walls whenever the bumps cause it to swerve off the straight line, and that happens pretty often since its suspension system is tuned for high travel.

    The best solution would be... to fix the vehicle, I guess... ;)

    So, I've encountered a fairly odd problem...

    When I try to test a drift variant of the SBR4 I made, it shifts into 3rd, hits about 80 or so MPH (~130 km/h) and then spins out and crashes into a wall.

    Well, that sucks.

    @Diamondback performance testing seems to be outdated now :/ could the new menu be a reason?

    What issue exactly are you running into?
    I updated all the cars for 0.8 so it certainly worked for me :)

    the testing simply wont launch. I use the autotest.zip attached in the first post and even with official cars i get this :


    same with my mod i tried to launch the testing with , which is completely 0.8.1 compatible.

    Hm, I'm not aware of any changes to the map but I'll upload a current version next week :)

    may i ask how soon we get the updated performance testing? i'd really like to finally update the stats on the s series :)

    what did you use for performance testing on the s-series?

    Because on the S4T (A) the base model you put 6.5 seconds but after my 3 test runs on grid small pure i got 5.42 seconds

    :)

    Apparently the issue is not only the map, but the mod loading too... The testing does not work at all for mods due to timing issues when loading the mods.
    I'll have to investigate further...
