Edit, Edit. Slowly fixing problems Thanks to help from DiamondBack (even though thanks to me being rude he didn't seem to and i didn't blame him, want to help) now it's down to why my completely vanilla 200BX keeps breaking 1st gear. (also yes though not much means anything on the internet apologies have been sent.)

So from my troubleshooitng, gears are breaking when i change without the clutch however i can clutch dump all day on a set of 14' wide draggers and not break first :/

This all seems like something of an over-reaction. Why didn't you simply ask about it first, and then see if there was a mod or other way to fix your problem?
If I had to guess, your custom input map might be the cause of your problem

AND if you want to start the drama in this bloody forum, you should consider one day you will regret that you will never have any access to this forum.

Maybe see if there's a solution instead of losing your mind?

Seems like this is your issue. If not, it's probably a mod. Chill bruh.

The new "powertrain" system is brilliant. As someone that actually drives a car, I can say with confidence that it's more realistic. If you want a better experience, get a wheel with pedals.

I don't know, but to me, this kinda sounds like ungratefulness. You're gonna quit playing BeamNG because of this? Come on.

Overreaction not really, I'm just tired of updates of the game that take months of trying to figure out or mods to fix. as started in previous comment i've gone back after the clutch/throttle assist was pointed out to me and have been unable to find any documentation of it being added. Not that this fixes my fun because the gears just break, yes it's cool but sometimes i don't care i just want to have fun.

Someone pointed this out on the steam review and it fixes it, however now the gears just break. Yay realisim cool, i just want to have fun is that too much to ask?, what i want more then anything is an "Off button" on some features, like the recently broken super radiators/customisable radiator.

I agree, the powerterrain system is a wonderful thing. High/low gears with locking diffs? this is amaizing as i love to offroad/rockcrawl in BeamNG, that isn't the point of this thread though.

By your logic, you're about on
So you've never had a game that you love that consistantly finds way to kill your fun and enjoyment?, BeamNG has come a long way however they keep implmenting features with no Off button for people who just want to have some fun instead of deal with all the "realisim" BS.

If you dont want to have your 'problems': make an automatic transmission, shift up until you are in M1 one and you will have a manually shifted gearbox with no delay :)
And this game is early acces so the devs will bring out updates that kill mods since the game is evolving.

    hope this helps

BeamNG is one of my favorite games to play. However, I won't stop playing it just because of something that can be fixed.

I will admit, I get very annoyed when mods become game breaking after an update, but that doesn't mean I'm going to uninstall BeamNG.drive and stare at myself in a mirror. I instead, figure out what's going on and resolve it. Then I wait for the mods to get updated. I would encourage you do the same, by figuring out how to get past this issue you're dealing with, rather than just tossing BeamNG out the window.

    OP edited.

That would be assuming i'm someone with the knowledge or capablitys of making such a transmission, regardless i've fixed one issue and now others are arrising which are only irritating things that've been fustrating me since they introduced engine thermals. also yes i know mods break that's Earlie access.

Some have a higher skill set then others do, some have time to sit down and work the crap out others already have a pile of **** they have to work out and want to be able to go to their favorite game and have fun. Mods breaking is life though if the vanilla stuff could keep up to what i wanted to do then i wouldn't have to constantly get frustrated trying to enjoy my time playing BeamNG. Like having a stage three turbo that no radiator in the game can even remotely handle, what's the point of it other then oh look i can go from 0 to a broken in 5 seconds "fun".

I meant adding a automatic transmission in the parts menu. And for the radiator, you could tweak some settings by editing the jbeam.

Automatics and DCT's are different, the 200BX doesn't have a DCT only an Auto which has PRND21 not PRNDM1 M2 M3 M4 M5 M6 ect. and tweaking the Jbeam goes back to what i said before about having a pile of other shit to sort out without having to go though and sort out a pile of shit in game as well, i'd like to be able to just enjoy myself and forget about the other pile of shit.

Can you actually stop raging, saying the same swear word three times in a sentence isn't just against the rules, it also makes you look like an idiot.

Disgusted? Really? That's your way of trying to say I don't like the current behavior, is there anything that can be done? Very awesome to wake up to such comments. Thanks for nothing...
As for your actual problem.... Did you try switching the clutch filtering to "Direct"? That would probably help you...

I have no idea what this person is on about. I am currently learning to drive (on a manual, as is common in the UK), and the latest update was so realistic, that it is actually helping me to learn. I wish people would actually try to get help for their problem, instead of shouting at the devs, because they work hard enough without having to deal with people like that.

You didn't read the post did you? OP had been edited but it wont allow me to change the title, the original issue with the shifting has been figured out (i didn't see any documentation in patch notces or blog about the clutch/throttle assist feature). I almost got excited too until gears started breaking every 20 seconds. I love this game but i'm sick of playing games where i want to throw my controller at the wall every 20 seconds, the game was (and yes in ways still is) awesome, i could come on and spend hours on end driving/drifting/racing around but now i have to reset my car every few seconds almost. original post was me very pissed off yes but now that's been figured out (and again i can't change the title of the thread) the same issue that's been bugging me since engine thermals while i think they're cool but are a huge hindrance to my fun in BeamNG and the only way i could think of how you guys could improve the game at this point is giving the players the ablity to turn some things of for the sake of fun.

So yes i was pissed off, that got sorted out and i'm in the same position again after i was after engine thermals came out (actually never had a problem with the brake thermals, awesome job on that one).

On the note of the clutch filtering, i haven't seen this option in the game, going to go have a dig around to see what i can find.

thirdly, yes i'm sorry, if i could change the title of the thread i would but i couldn't see how to when i edited it.
    --- Post updated ---
    Now how's name calling XD

The realism aspect is good, I'd probably agree with you if i saw what you saw before i edited it however. it's now been changed and doesn't so much involve the realism point, just the fact i wish it was an option that i could stop engine/transmission breaking every 20 seconds and have some fun with the game again.

Also I've been driving manuals here in Aus for a few years now, which is something that bothers me when it came to how slow the shifting of the assisted shifts with clutch/throttle were, it's not that hard to "bang shift" a honda though my 2ng gear synchro ate it a couple of times.
