I see people are already putting negative reviews for having no grip and roll alot, well it is a 750 HP and by default its RWD. Dont expect all the power in rear wheels and have all the grip. In real life they have that kinda of power in the rear wheels (at least what people in discord said). If you guys want it improved, I may have to take away all the 750 HP and make it RWD like the old days. Also since this has got alot of clearance expect it to roll. The antiroll bars is kinda not there because I dont know how to add them. I really tried to make this as realistic as posible since this game is supposed to be "realistic" but I'm just terrible. Sorry if this is a mad comment but having that many reviews just make me nervous. Thank you for understanding. Next vehicle I promise will be better. EDIT: I just realized that I forgot to credit someone for something. Oops. Its edited now.
I am sorry, but I won't do that in a city, flipping the wheel in such a big car. It is true that the front suspension and the tires may need some work but this is not a good video for that
The truck is fine dude, if anything it needs to be less grippy like @opkraut said. The model isn't an issue in my opinion, it looks like a trophy truck shell and thats fine by me, it has breakgroups for the fenders and stuff so i don't see why it is such a big issue to people. Like I mentioned in my review, the only major problem is the extreme tyre shake when using RWD versions. --- Post updated --- The truck is fine dude, if anything it needs to be less grippy like @opkraut said. It's absolutely fantastic, I've been waiting so long to see an honest to goodness trophy truck. Both versions, race and Baja work amazingly in their respective environments. The only minor issue I've found is, the baja version especially, when you're going very fast, like well over 80, up a big hill, and the suspension is loaded all the way down in the front, the truck has a tendency to suddenly flip itself over, as if the front tire got caught between the ground and something in the truck, and it just completely flips end over end. I was thinking maybe it was the body panels, but even the stripped version does this. A minor flaw, I friggin love this thing, I don't even care about the way it looks, it does what it's supposed to do! Den outta den.
Hmmm. it does tip a bit too much, but other then that, its a good trophy truck. Its a trophy truck tho, so the suspension is honestly very good, very trophy truck ish. i like it a lot. fix the tipping bit and its a real trophy truck. I really hope it didnt sound negative, because it really is a good mod, and its only issue is really the tipping. it does tip a bit easy. Your mods are very good and i really like them, keep it up.
Good news everyone, no need to worry about tiping anymore, An emergancy update will come out eventualy to help stop the tiping dramaticly. I also gonna be adding the esc as a seperate option for keyboard users (im calling it easy mode for laughs). Hope it helps.
thats amazing. the car is basically perfect then. ive been playing a lot with it lately with the sand dunes in ghost desert and the sand grabs it sometimes which is pretty annoying. having a 2nd suspension which is a bit harder would be a nice extra.
OK, this is prime! People who say these have way too much body roll are just being morons. If you actually look at a real trophy trucks they have a ton of body roll in real like especially on asphalt as these trucks are set up to drive on dirt.. they slide not turn. The suspension is so soft to actually take the jumps. Please do some research before bashing on this mod. Obviously it has some TLC that needs to be done to be great but its the first real trophy truck we've had. Be respectful people! Use positive criticism.. it goes a lot farther. If you guys don't like it instead of saying how bad it is why don't you make your own mod that's better?? Oh wait that takes time and people might not like ur's also.. Great job OP!
Just a heads up the update may take a little longer then usual, Someone helped me out with the suspension and put all the weight to the bottom of the chassis and I just deleted the update that was gonna release and replaced it with the brand new update thats coming eventualy.
The criticism on that post was the most idiot thing on the world: 1-It's not undetailed, it's very very VERY good made. 2-Crappy suspension... it is not for streets *facepalm* 3-Much body roll... lol, if you want to be negative JDMGuy revamp by yourself, because they are made to drift on dirt also on asphalt they dont turn that slow
Bajarama is my favorite Beam/ROR map and it takes the jumps amazingly, but it's true that it does tend to roll on the corners even though it's dirt. The current setup is great for big jumps, so instead of replacing them, I think that there should be two suspension types. One for the big hills (current) and one for more dirt racing (slightly stiffer/anti roll bars). The tires also have a tendency to dimple inside of themselves. It might be because they are too grippy. I'm very happy with this mod, it just needs a little more tuning that's all. The model is in typical RG style, so I guess JDMguy hasn't used any of your mods before. Great job.
