My question about autonomous vehicles is if one vehicle happened to somehow hit another, who would be considered at fault for the accident? The manufacturer of the vehicle or the "driver" assuming that autonomous vehicles will have some sort of manual driving function too.
Thats cool but fucking scary. I'm majorly concerned with spying and privacy and the information retention required to do that makes me uneasy.
So, my local police force are now sending out emails with information on how to prepare for flooding... As long as it doesn't reach me on the second story of this building im good xD
If anything for flood preparation should be painfully obvious, it should be to get the fuck to higher ground, because those low-lying areas flood first if it should be more clear.
It would seem I am way too far inland to be in the major effected zone. However it does probably mean that all the fields will flood (as they do most years) and the canals may also flood too.
Well, that is pretty much their advice for coastal regions. If you have a 2 story home they are suggesting that people prepare to live upstairs. They want anyone who moves out to notify them (presumably in case of any rescue operations) and are suggesting that people consider moving out of the area for a few days. Apparently they also have limited shelters for pets too which I guess is kinda neat. --- Post updated --- Well, I have lived in the north (Middlesbrough/ Teesside area) for about 16 years. But I am now a student and will likely be moving to wherever someone offers to pay me after that
I would kill for some rain right now, its currently 36 degrees Celsius, and supposed to hit 42~ later on. It's funny how in winter you wish for summer and complain about it, and in summer you wish for winter. The winter in Australia isn't that bad though for me, usually only gets to about 10 degrees Celsius, so I admire you Canadians for toughing it out
The only time I'm glad I live in Liverpool... When it floods.. I'm actually quite shocked at how badly the east coast get's it. I honestly thought it was just down south that got the flooding and the east coast was just falling off.
Looks like much of the eastern UK is pretty much fucked in the ass now with all the possible flooding in those areas.
We're supposed to get half an inch of ice tonight, all the stores are sold out of everything. However, I'd happily take 3 ft of snow and -10* over it being 107* with 99% humidty.
Well, to be fair I don't think anyone really cares if the entirety of the skegness/mablethorpe area of coastline gets washed away xD
Of all the people to be commenting this, you are not the one who should be talking. You are by far one of the most downright negative people on the forum. You refuse to actually take responsibility for any of your comments, and are painfully hypocritical. Besides that, almost every single one of your posts are trying to start a flame war. Hati actually contribute to the forum discussions ina meaningful manner. But god forbid he says a swear so you have to try and start something out of nothing because you crave the attention (and yes I understand why the mods do it, but it's not the users jobs to start a witch-hunt) /rant
Snow! First snow of the year for us in notts, except from the way it's just melting because the ground is wet, it's still cool.
I don't think i have ever wished for summer in any circumstance. Summer is a C***, it should get lost. Stupid weather forecasters said there would be 80mm of rain, we got 7.
