Thanks --- Post updated --- Since the next update is going to have travel tires will there be a monster truck hauler you guys are making?
We have talked about it in the beta group. Unless someone is working on it undercover, I haven't heard/seen anything about it since it was first brought up. But @FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL did talk about it a tiny bit. So there might be a slim chance.
considering the fact I can't even figure out the map editor I think that's pretty good, all I know how to do is scale objects and move objects, can't figure out the editing tools for the terrain itself so yes it's a great start, almost looks like an abandoned track which is cool, and unique
Sweet! So do you have any idea on when we will get other chassis? Possibly some from the 90's? 90's are my favorite era.
No, we have more stuff planned, but this kind of things take time. Like, a LOT of time. Once CRD is more or less "finalized", we'll probably look into doing more variations. Still, the Cohen chassis is next, then we'll see.
Most of the Bigfoot trucks that ran from 1990 to 95 ran cantilever in the rear. But once technology grew they got nitrogen shocks that got the same amount of travel as the cantilever. --- Post updated --- Okay! Thanks for the info! --- Post updated --- Alright. If someone can transfer CAD drawings into a blender program, I have some chassis drawings of BF#11, BF#16, BF#21, and a Patrick chassis. I have no idea how all of this stuff works, but we have them drawn so we can laser cut some RC chassis out. All of them are extremely accurate. They are 2D.
Getting meshes for the chassis is not a problem, may 3D artists who have contributed to this mod have modelled a wide variety of them already. Problem is getting them in game, and all the beamwork and fine tuning required for a vehicle to work in BeamNG.
