I know for a fact, glasses would not look good on me. Except for my aviators, which I got at a gas station. Also, I don't want to be wearing glasses whilst using my PC. Just in general, I don't like the idea of glasses at my age. In my twenties, it is fine, I can live with that, but... adolescents.. no. It would be fine if I got them at a young age, but not now. I refuse to tell my parents, I'd rather wait until my next optometrist visit in December, as ignorant as it sounds.
I have worn my -29 diopter glasses for about a half hour before. I have worn my -12 diopter myodisc glasses for longer than that. I worn the -12 glasses when out and about with this nice guy Obershnider. He and I went to a pizza place to have lunch. I was wearing his wedding ring. I told him I love him. He tells me that he cares about me too.
I should have 6 pairs of myodisc glasses being mailed to me very soon from a high myopic guy in England. That will make my collection contain 26 pairs.
I hope to get the very strong myodisc glasses later this week. The package of glasses from England is on the way to my house. There should be a pair that is over -30 diopters.
Re: My perscription eyeglases collection. I felt your pain, scared of wearing glasses, trust me, don't worry about looking like a geek, no one will care unless you make them, my vision is getting worse every year because I spend so many hours infront of the screen, I've been wearing my 2nd pair (I stepped on my first pair at school D and I can't read without them at school, I don't wear them around the house, but text on my pc screen has been starting to get slightly blurry, you gonna have to get glasses sooner or later its not the end of the world
I don't NEED glasses. My left eye is a bit bad, my right is perfect. I have yet to get a new pair (right eye used to be bad, who knew, they can get better). I want them more for the appearance. Not that I could get any more geeky than I already am. I just like glasses. And I like wearing them.
I was told at the DMV that I have 20/40 vision. The last time I got it checked I was 20/20, which was like a year ago. This is a stunning development. I blame the machine.
