New update available, including a very smart fix to slow shifting in "Arcade" mode by @Matchbox201. 3.0 RC5
With the mod now telling you that G and H are for rear steering are we going to have rear steering as the default now?
Gas Monkey Garage is sitting on a slightly modified "custom" version of the chassis. As for the D-Series, it's just a quick hack job I did a few months ago. It's currently not up to par with the quality standards of other body options available, so I decided not to include it for now.
Aaahhhhhhh,, ok. I was expecting GMG to be on a modified chassis, because it is a different body style. Btw, great progress so far
Gas Monkey Garage is a Cohen in real life. Doesn't work all that well with the Grave Digger's Cohen we are developing, though. Our version runs on a custom CRD without the rear support bar and with a slightly more raked rollbar. It was never really meant for release but the final result worked way better than expected, so here it is. I didn't deem a single, inaccurate experimental truck worthy a dedicated chassis alternative at the time, so I made it a separate vehicle instead... but this peculiar setup could well be added as a third option in the future, with the introduction of the spiked Max-D body.
the D-series cab could be integrated onto the Gas Chicken Garage chassis so it's more akin to Time Flys and Wild Flower
Btw @FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL why was I invited into this group randomly? Is it cause I was in the old one?
I thought you might have liked to join. The group is now open (but still requires membership to access). Since it's not so obvious yet - I want to fix/add a few more things before the group is fully unlocked and advertised - I thought I'd invite you directly.
Also, can you guys please stop teasing a release (that won't come anytime soon) in the other thread? Mainly because of this: People are expected to join the group to get the mod. I just want to avoid much fanfare while some details are still in development, so I'm yet to advertise the group for now, and I ask you to do the same. Letting them believe they can wait for a release elsewhere is misleading.
someone in one of my videos pointed out that max-d doesn't have sway bars because he likes the truck to be super loose. upon closer inspection, they're right.
and since he has no sway bars, when he rolls the truck (twists mid air, lands on the back end, and the front slams the ground) the axle comes down, giving the truck grip to right itself --- Post updated --- also I found out how to do donuts until the fuel runs out without problems overheating, simply lift off every few seconds, something like this... ...so if you want to do longer donuts in freestyle videos, that's how you do it
All pics I could find of the CRD version have swaybars, though: Swaybars are removable, anyway, you can disable them and update the preset if you like.
