There is a difference between Ferrarri and S-class/7-Series/A8L. As you made a luxury car, not a supercar which tends to decrease it's weight as much as possible about what prem class don't care at all
Believe me. Especially 'today' they care about the weight. Reasons might be fuel economy and overall handling.
Dunno if buyers of Premium class even care about fuel consumtion. I mean such cars still the most heavy along all other classes, they just can't be light, indeed for fuel economy they do have tricks as "start-stop" or Audi's technology that switches off half of engine on low speeds. Even if they care about it, which I doubt that it much of a problem, these cars are safer in accidents, thx to weight I know that our beloved german Trio is adding electrical motors, which is so damn good
Well, I think it's due to engine evolve. 2005-V8-600 HP-very Heavy-0-100km/h ~6 sec. 2013+-V6-400 hp-weightless turbo 0-100 km/h ~5 sec. The examples are Prem class ~2k ton car
More weight does not increase safety, and they don't just add random lead weights all around the car to make it heavier "just because it's a high end car". The size of the body and all accessories add the weight and these cars are getting lighter now after manufacturers have started using carbon fiber here and there and making the bodyshells lighter with different structure desings and materials. Also, they don't make cars' fuel economy better just for the people who buy the high end cars, it's just to generally reduce emissions.
Back passenger door is small, overall eh if I could draw like that. . --- Post updated --- I didn't want to say it's safe cuz of weight, more like it's safer due to big ass aluminium construction that is tough enough to make you winner in most crashes, and ofc all of that shitload of systems that protects the driver non stop. As4me carbon is a heresy on those cars It's ok on some sport models, which just needs to reduce weight, but not on these. And where did I say that their aim is to reduce consumption for "hi end" customers, I said that they don't care about it. Consumption improve is a step by step process that affects whole brand's cars. I was bad at explaining my thought, especially on English
Carbon fiber is featured in almost every modern car, such as the BMW G11 7 Series. I don't see why you think that more weight is better, manufacturers are always striving to create lighter cars. Nothing "heresy" about carbon fiber in cars. Consumption improvement is also not a "step by step process that affects whole brand's cars". I don't even know what you mean by that. People buying high end cars still care about fuel consumption.
Love this mod man. My only request is to have a drift steering option, which I usually do myself, but upon increasing the factor above .17 (which is not much of a turning radius at all for drifting), I believe it is the tie rods that start giving up and bend, resulting in in the worst wheel alignment ever.
Bro worldofmods re-uploaded your mod btw can you make a sound mod for the s series cuz the default one is horrible
