Good riddance, first day being unbanned he spams every thread in vehicle suggestions with "use vehicle suggestions". Not long after that starts being as annoying as possible, and now this. If I had just been banned I think I would try and blend in, not try and get attention by being an idiot.

Debating on buying a used oscilloscope in the £100 range or a £20 kit scope from China, more specifically the DSO138, I think a cheap kit scope should be fine for my needs, I only intend on testing the human hearing spectrum, 20Hz - 20KHz, nothing to crazy. I'm more than curious to find out at what volume my Receiver begins to distort and what it's actual output power is, by ear at 1KHz it seems to distort at about 8 on the volume dial but I'd rather look at the sine on a scope.

*totally dont work for this company so totally not biased*

Nah seriously, 2204A, £99 with probes included. Software isnt feature locked except for I believe the ethernet and USB serial decoders being unavailable on that device because of bit rate, cant remember, can check tomorrow at work if thats a concern. Software is a free download and runs with a software emulated demo device if no hardware is present so you can at least have a look at the feature set. Got the usual measurements, serial decoders, triggers and stuff in there, persistance and spectrum modes too.

Anyone else here with a 780m having trouble with the latest NVIDIA updates? I'm forced to use a really outdated driver for Windows 8.1 from the manufacturer's website. The problem with the new updates is my GPU runs at idle constantly, and never increases, even when plugged in. It stays locked at 135 core and 160 memory or something similar. The older driver works fine and it runs properly when plugged in, but I can't make any use of DX12 or shadowplay which sucks.

I will admit for the price that's a great deal, where as with a used 'scope I have to consider that it might be out of alignment due to ageing electrolytics, I won't get any probes with a used 'scope and no support either. Where as that USB 'scope is less bulky, and controlled pretty much entirely in software which is pretty neat, plus if I have a problem with it I can yell at you.

    Or you can try this

Don't think the £100 model has the throughput to do that unfortunately, but it's cool

Oh, would you quit advertising? /s

Useful information is always welcome, and I know you're not going to get any sort of commission from that.

I don't get commission from any sale unless little old me from software department somehow persuades a company into a 20000 unit sale or something.

I do get commission from recruiting employees though

I'm in my school's band room right now.

I'm pissed because I'm still missing something important... I almost want to throw this chair I'm sitting on and get a referral...

And? Talk to someone in real life. There's nothing anyone on these forums can do.

The website blocker at my school is uber strict. The people who made this made it right, and made it to block me. My old school was easily bypassable because I could connect to my phone's hotspot from an OS off of my thumb drive. This one doesn't even let me right click or do anything but the school website on internet explorer. The site has a search bar built in, which is why we can do anything, but anywhere else is blocked. Luckily, I can bypass a little with a proxy on a USB stick, but it has to be low profile and NOT an exe/msi/etc.
Damn. These guys know their stuff. But I will find a way. I promise you that. :|
