This is the exact reason I'm calling my ute/truck the Ibishu Vertex instead of an Isuzu D-Max, I don't have to worry about making it exactly like a D-Max, and I can also release it on the forum. OT: doing some inside parts because boredom
THE MONSTER IS COMING. COMING SOON. Spoiler Any body have a VR38 engine?..... and could someone make the body and physics please? I'll give you full credits
Is this going to be a full on pickup truck with chassis and everything? or something "ute" based like this? I know someone did this with the Covet and the Sunburst, but it lacked.... the utilitarian parts to it, like the Covet one was just simply the back part chopped off, and the Sunburst was promising, but no actual parts to it like rollbars and etc.Though I'm all for having more mid-sized trucks and SUVs nonetheless.
True pickup with the d-15 suspension adjusted for it as well. --- Post updated --- model almost done (ish) whats left is uv maps..... And then jbeam. thats not gonna be fun since i dont have the measurements.... so might be a major pain. lets hope not. But its still going to be fun Oh and question, should this be a completely different vehicle or should it be an addon for the covet as a different body? its kinda sitting on a frame so im not sure if this should be considered its own vehicle or not.
I would like it as an addon. And if you do it as an addon will you just make a "frame" in the slot where the unibody goes in the parts selector?
I think that if i make it into an addon the frame will be in the body slot to change from the stock covet to the pickup covet, and then the body will be in another slot on the frame. Also, i dont think ill keep the covets i4 for this. ill add the pickups i6 and v8 engine. and if i do that. i will 100% make sure to add the supercharger
Working on some "custom" bumpers to replace the Okudai ones from the old Covet It could use a bit of work, but its a good enough placeholder for now.
When someone told me to give my VW Fox a bullshit name so "it could go on the repo" It got me thinking of how well I could make an Original Vehicle. And here are the results so far.
