I feel your pain. The whole waterproof unibody trend is officially ending the Era of the removable battery. I picked up my v10 because it has the SD and battery concern taken care of. I plan on having this phone for years to come as long I can find batteries for it. Need to experiment with debloating and maybe a rom. I'm new to having a phone that isn't super locked down.

Custom ROM's are absolutely great. However, do not expect everything to work. While some ROMS do get very very close to 100% stable you will probably find one or two quirks. For me if a device is still getting official updates I am keeping it stock, then when they stop I will move to custom ROMs.

Once again, somewhere where the S2 excelled, it still has a fairly massive ROM community keeping it going and up to date, even though the last OS it officially got was kitkat. Which is once again kinda impressive for a phone that originally ran gingerbread. For reference Samsung actually stopped supporting both the GS2 and GS3 at the same time, both of them only ever reached kitkat.

Damn I love that phone far more than I should xD

Motorola makes great phones too. My Droid Turbo is awesome. It's probably 2 years old at this point and the battery still lasts all day no problem. I've dropped it plenty of times (I don't have a case on it) and it barely has any damage.

Anyone else ever found themselves wondering why there is a shopping trolley in their living room?

The only thing that's keeping me from a Pixel is familiarity. I don't feel like learning Android. Well... that and I have to either buy the phone outright or go to Verizon, which I don't want to do.

And I get a free iPhone upgrade every year, so...

Lenovo is killing Moto though. My Z Play has a horrible camera just as they were slowly starting to turn around and make good cameras (Nexus 6), is slow at times for no reason at all (also keep in mind it costs $450 - I could buy a OnePlus 3T which has much better specs/two GBs more RAM at the same price point!), and (my biggest gripe) slow updates.

Like c'mon, you use a stock version of Android, how the hell are you slower than SAMSUNG, who is notorious for slow updates and who's OS is probably the most modified out of all other OEMs' software?

RIP Motorola. Miss when you were under Google, not Le "Superfish" novo. The company should be called Lenovorola now, it's a husk of what it used to be. Returning this overpriced hunk of junk next week. Sigh :/

As someone who watched that movie incessantly when he was little, that's hilarious. Bought one as soon as I saw your post.

Blipshift is great for these kinds of shirts. It's also where my profile pic came from
I got my dad a shirt with a diagram of pedals (with a clutch pedal of course) and the caption "Leg Day" on it for Christmas

I can tell right off the bat that these make great gifts. Hopefully a Land Rover Discovery themed one comes around so I can get it for my dad, though I'm sure he'd love most of the other ones anyway. My shop teacher in high school had this one, but I didn't know where he got it at the time.

On a side note, how do slightly-undersized people buy clothes in America? Their smallest size is slightly larger than the shirt I'm wearing.

Blipshift is different than other sites, because it has a limited number of shirts available for each design. I think the smaller sizes tend to sell out quicker than the larger sizes, so that's why it seems weird.

Probably the same way a friend of mine buys clothes in UK.
He's 5 feet/152cm tall. Can't even claim to be 5'1 because he's not. His shoe size is a UK men's 3, that's actually not a UK men's size, that's a kids size. His doc marten boots are actually women's fit just in a masculine design (this isn't a huge issue for him). He wears age 12-13 clothing. Occasionally pushing into 14 for jeans to clear his hips though then he ends up standing on the hems. He is 22.
Also gets mistaken for being as young as 13 sometimes. Most likely because he's actually a transgender guy therefore his birth certificate and everything reads female. Though that height is still short as a girl's height. Hence why women's boots do end up a nice comfy fit too. Just unfortunately trans guys, particularly without having had hormone injections yet, kinda end up somewhat baby faced and without voice having dropped, with his stature, yeah we got on a bus, "1 student 1 child for brother here". Got away with it

    Everything has it's advantages :p

I'm an average 5'10" (178cm) but I only weigh 130lbs so everything tends to be baggy on me unless I get kid's clothes or find something with a slim fit.

Why don't you like the camera? I have absolutely no problem with mine, but yeah the updates aren't fast, in fact I got updated to Nougat just last night. I have no problems with the performance, either. I've had it for about a month now and I'm very happy.
