Well, "cheaply built" might be a bit too much, but southern-european cars won't ever be remembered as landmarks of sturdy quality of construction. Anyway, it's not like those Ibishus currently in game are much to write home about in this regard...

I guess focus is on crashing things well, sturdy cars might go bit against the theme here Weak structures make more cinematic crashes, I believe, so cars of lesser integrity should have their uses?
Just because a car stays working for a long time it doesn't mean its very reliable. You dont drive a lot in europe and there aren't half as many climate changes as in somewhere in the US. american cars of the same year of manufacture are probably with a lot more miles and rust. And yes. The 504 its not cheap built at all. Had one. That thing would handle anything.
By your pseudo I guess I can only trust you for the 504 ! Well, they haven't been built for the American market, so you can't compare them. BUT, I can't say either they aren't strong and I not totally agree with you, we have a 106 with 320 000+ km, which is quite respectable for for a car cheaply build, who sleeped outside for years, and still run perfecly fine, without rust or any other problems than loosing oil. Maybe under American winters condition the car would be all rusted out, but i'm not really sure about that. For me every car on earth can be reliable at the moment you take care of it. (Excluding british cars lol)
I haven't found reliability issues from cars that are in BeamNG, in fact they wreck perfectly every time!
