Gave it my best shot, and I'm honestly surprised with the outcome. It looks a bit out of proportion but I like it.
I never ever draw cars, but this was just a quick sketch to do an attempt on a screenshot I had. I kinda gave up on the tires but yeah lol, this is the result.
You can help proportions by putting in helper lines, axles and centerline of floorpan, you can add more helperlines and remove not needed ones during the process then. When doing poses of characters it is often used technic to draw rough guidelines for spine, hip and shoulder, you can then use same trick with cars. It is kind of wire cage/frame for drawing which helps to see where to place features. I know I would be lot better if I would use more of such lines, but I guess I'm bit lazy. I like his tutorials, maybe some of you might find it useful, it is not much different to draw car or a person, same principles apply and when knowing what is needed to draw characters, adapting that to cars is easy, I wish my hand would just obey my commands like his does!
Sideways, but a few WIP drawings of mine. @Civetta Hale , keep practicing. Your drawings looked pretty damn good in my opinion.
Btw this is a little sneaky reference by me x) . This is probably the next military cargo plane coming to beamng . But first I will learn about Blender and modding for beamng . (Can anyone guess the plane ?)
