WIP Beta released FR17 (2018 update) 1.4.1

This car is successor FR16. It's based on real Formula 1 2017 cars. i have many plans to realize on this vehicle, so the release date is far away. This is what i made already:'



Additional skins packs with real logos
-All F1 2017 skins

-other real logos skins

just put this file into mods folder

 

Looks awesome will you release the real company names here in the forums?

I love FR16 but this looks so much better. Mainly because it really resembles F1 cars, FR16 looker more like Formula Renault 3.5, F3 or modern F2. However, if you could make sidepods' holes a bit bigger it would be perfect.

 

Yay! This looks really better. The FR16 has a little more 90s thing to it, which it was based off, only with 21st century technology. But this is great!

 

Oooh! Looks awesome. Will the engine be tun-able, to simulate different team's engines? I always felt that was missing.

It is in plan, now it simulate Honda engine

Does it uses the same tire width as the FR16 or it's at 2017 regulations ?

 

Funny thing, but FR16 tyres are very close to 2017 tyre regulations.

I just hope three things from this:

1. The side pods won't glitch out if you hit things over .00001 mph (exaggeration)
2. The aero won't be making me fly higher then any other F1 car ever if I flip
3. I can be a beta tester again!

But honestly it is looking good already.

 

One thing I found with the FR16 is that if you spun it was very likely that the rear suspension would buckle and the wheels would fold underneath the car (although I think this is because the tyres are so grippy)

If you mean it will wobble around, its meant to do that. The fin moves at different angles as the car goes around the corner, helping with cornering speeds:

 

I think he means the shark fin glitches out while crashing(like the side pods on the FR16)

 

Nono, I mean (like Praefectus said) that the fin since is so thin it could glitch during crashes. But Raider said that it shouldn't happen, so let's hope he is right
